  • Mission: HEROES is a decentralized marketplace streamlining work processes for freelancers and agencies in the open web industry, focusing on verifiability, transparency, and efficiency.
  • Key Challenges Addressed: It tackles issues found in traditional Web2 platforms (like data fragmentation and exclusivity) and Web3 platforms (such as poor user experience and compliance gaps).
  • Vision: Aims to become the flagship smart-contract system for decentralized work coordination by combining the best aspects of Web2 and Web3.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: HEROES will establish itself in the NEAR Protocol community, expand to other EVM-compatible blockchains, and then target mainstream adoption.
  • Live MVP: The current MVP on the NEAR mainnet includes smart contracts for bounties, reputation management, and dispute resolution.

The platform has been well supported & utilized by reputable entities & projects in the ecosystem (i.e NEAR Foundation, NEARDevHub, Marketing DAO, Popula, NEKO, Potlock and more) despite some frictions and initial flaws.

We are actively developing HEROES v2(temp. name) with better UI/UX, performance & optimization, focus on specific use cases & usability.

Also one of the interesting features is a GitHub bot that allows converting an issue into a bounty and tracking the lifecycle of the bounty.

I’ve been using this platform for NEAR DevHub bounty payouts for some time now, and I can wholeheartedly say that it saved me sooo much time and stress. Instead of manually pushing the paperwork, involving Finance and Legal teams at NEAR Foundation, and messaging back and forth with the hackers, I just post the bounty and make sure the winners claim it. Gus and team are super diligent and supportive with the community members, and I would love to see their project grow within and beyond our ecosystem.

Using Heroes for a long time and received payments for creating content for NEKO.
A very convenient platform, everything works swiftly and efficiently, without unnecessary movements with payments like collecting wallets. Just whitelist them and that’s all.
You can submit your work when it’s need, and when it’s convenient to pick up tokens.

So far I’ve been using Heroes to replace the NEARWEEK News collecting system in our DAO, which have been a lifesaver, as AstroDAO deterioration and Astra++ was making it really difficult to keep it running as a DAO. Heroes also enables us to actually make valid invoices for our transactions to our contributors, which have been something we have wanted to do for a long time. I’ve also started paying me employees salaries via Heroes, as the KYC and payment process enables me to pay salaries safely. So Heroes have actually been solving some issues that we have had for quite some time now!

I support this. I love the Heroes bounty bot. I see huge potential for this but need existing integrations into our open source workflow. This is a really powerful platform with KYC and I see it becoming the Web3 version of Deel or Gusto. In the Farcaster ecosystem bountycaster has been a huge hit. I’d also like to integrate bounties into Potlock.
