Introduction
Set, sharing, and acknowledging content value is hard in the web 2.0 era. There is a need to incentive people to be active in the knowledge economy, complementing the work of content producers. Today there is too much content available, but extracting knowledge from it and providing insights and feedback is going down. We need tools that motivate people to share their points of view and generate valuable conversations around any subject.
Main Objective
SharingShard provides interactive elements to invite people to find the knowledge that complements the ideas in a video, helps people solve challenges, and expands the information that opens conversations to figure out how to solve challenges or learn what is currently available on a specific subject.
The development of SharingShard has the vision to integrate functionality to any forum, video, or content that motivates the people to participate in the conversation getting recognition as a reputation or tokens that have value according to the level of value created while participating in conversations.
Why this project
This project aims to create the concept of how knowledge creates value that is recognized by the people who request help, read about, or use the knowledge generated.
Use Case
A first step is to develop a tool that allows an easy way to monetize participation by using TKnoogets tokens when you create a collection of information related to a given subject. Then analyze the information and extract challenges, insights, or questions to expand the area of knowledge. Each participation appreciated by the people involved in the conversation receives a valuation converted into TKnoogets.
The initial evaluation uses publicly available videos from YouTube or the https://www.videonotebook.com/ site to extract specific points of reference for a video associated with a comment, question, or challenge.
Projection
Once launched the dApp for general use, the goal is to develop a plugin or extension to any content source to develop more knowledge to solve challenges.
Benefits
Create an open tool to help people that use knowledge as raw material to develop their activities like students, researchers, consultants, engineers, lawyers, etc.
