[Proposal] Seminar Philosophy of/and Art: Institutional autonomy and social commitment in art at the beginning of the 21st century

The autonomous status of art, which establishes institutions as the sole authority in matters of art, generates a distance between art and its audience, that neutralizes the political content of the artistic message, and restricts it to an elite audience. Among those works of art and/or the uses of their mechanical reproductions, at least two areas could escape this institutionalization and elitism: the street and the net. How does this affect creativity within an environment where art moves towards an uncontrollable destiny?
The seminar will take place on June 3th, online.
It will be held in Portuguese.

Budget for speaker: USD 250 in dai or near (that more convenient to dao).
NEAR account for payment: moniherrnog.near
