How do you onboard someone new?
How do you give all the information to this new member, even someone thats knows nothing?
How to make this automatic, because it tooks a long time to explain everything?
How can we customize for whatever needs do.we have? Even a newborn dao, can have his own personal onboard system.

Thr pdf is just the first part. It will solve the system. Just the custom part that will be at other step, other funding.

Um sistema automatizado pra que qualquer dao, seja qual for a necessidade ele cutomize o site. O site/dapp é outra parte, outro orcamento, mais complexo, com uma equipe, mas o racional ja vai estar pronto, a logica resolvida. O pdf é uma maneira a baixo custo 300usd x 3 profissionais pra criar todo o material visual, montagem, racional, texto em pt/en, linkagem
A pessoa vai criar uma carteira, entender todo o basico que precisa, sobre web3, blockchain, near protocol, redes sociais, nfts, royalties, como mintar, listar, telegram, tipbot, basico de tokenconomia, estrategia de divulgacao, lendo o pdf. Como uma pagina, mas em formato pdf. Depois passamos pra multimedia, com videos e depois integramos com programacao pra ja estsr vinculado ao blockchain.

I think it is always nice to have materials ready for new community members onboarded. I do feel the value of 300 USD per PDF pretty high though. You might want to check the other DAOs, as mentioned by the other council members, as they have been onboarding for a while and you can find a lot of documentation already. There is also an onboarding DAO which you might want to get in touch with. That way funding can be used in a way so that your community actually profits from it directly.

all of the materials are scarce, difficult to reach, focused at a specific crowd, or too complex, or doenst respond the questions. this is a complete step by step walktrought for onboarding. and it will be opened so anyone can custom as its own

Everyone needs to understand about web3, blockchain, tokens, tokenconomy, near, create a near wallet, understand how near ecossystem works, whats a guild, a dao, how the forum works, transparency, how to behave and give constructive feedbacks, whats reffinance, stake, what is nft, what it is to be an nft artist, a collector, the marketplaces, mint, list, the social medias, telegram, twitter, instagram, Discord, Link Hubs, Marketing, Sales Strategy, Online Tools, Financial Advices, 50/50 DAOs split, and what partners each DAOs got.

I am curious about which materials you have already checked and found not suitable (what are your questions?) , for minting you can find a lot from Mintbase/createbase for example, also MarmaJ has a good amount of materials for web3/onboarding etc. and you can find the guides in here in the forum as well.

The main onboarding itself imo would mainly consist of getting & using the near wallet, gov. forum & also the process of minting.

Ok. The first problem, its time spend. To reach everything, to explain everyone, about everything, it takes 2 hours… a people. theres material here or there. But theres no link. What we found dont talk to our crowd, theres differences. And all scarce around everywhere. We are putting then together, with a simple language, for even a child could understand. For the onboard dao ive asked at the forum to participate somehow, but got no response. And we need to develop this material, because we are growing fast… and and others groups around us too… and it will be a open file… its all based on our personal experience with a research from the user.

As vezes passou batido… Gostaria além disso adicionar que não se trata apenas de um “serviço prestado” para se produzir um .pdf. Can you please share the links that you aware of for onboarding? We find it difficult to reach. And our material is not about how to mint or list at mintbase. Is about What is mint, What is list, what are marketplaces and which ones have at near. How theynwork, etc. How to be an NFT artist, How to be a NFT collector and what is that, how to sell your art from the beginning… Its a very complete guide… for 22usd a page, with at least 3 professionals artists with a background form design, publicity and marketing area… how to achieve 2000 twitter followers in 2 months without spend a cent… and the list goes on.

A Muti está neste espaço há algum tempo e apoiou muitos artistas, fez o onboarding de muitos artistas, colaborou com muitas DAOs. Não me parece que transformar o diálogo que temos nestes tópicos numa espécie de interrogatório e contra-interrogatório seja vantajoso. Isto é um diálogo amigável. Se um dos membros do council da Creatives DAO faz perguntas, é para que certas dúvidas sejam esclarecidas, para que possamos tomar decisões da melhor forma possível. Pedir mais informações é o papel da @tabear.

Muti has been in this space for a while and has supported many artists, onboarded many artists, collaborated with many DAOs. I don’t think that turning the dialogue we have in these threads into a kind of interrogation and cross-examination is helpful. This is a friendly conversation. If one of the Creatives DAO council members asks questions, it is so that certain doubts can be clarified, so that we can make decisions in the best possible way. Todas as DAOs já passaram por essa experiência. A maior parte opta, no geral, por fazer onboarding de várias pessoas ao mesmo tempo. O arroz criativos, que é uma DAO + um espaço cultural em Lisboa, tem sessões de onboarding todas as quartas-feiras.

Quando o onboarding é feito online, tanto a Muti como a Incubadora, como muitas outras, fazem sessões com muita gente, em vez de fazer uma a uma.

Há imensos videos de youtube com materiais deste género, muitas das DAOs fazem workshops, materiais como os que a guilda português traduziram já estão disponíveis há bastante tempo, para além dos materiais oficiais da Near, em EN.

Não tenho uma resposta clara para te dar, uma vez que as DAOs são muito diferentes entre si, e portanto cada DAO tem de encontrar a melhor maneira de interagir com a sua comunidade, mas, nas DAOs em que estou integrado, criar materiais de leitura curta (tipo 1 página) foi a maneira que encontrámos para explicar os passos necessários para coisas como carteira, mintbase, etc, e sempre funcionou bastante bem.

All DAOs have experienced this. Most of them choose, in general, to onboard several people at the same time. Creative Rice, which is a DAO + a cultural space in Lisbon, has onboarding sessions every Wednesday.

When onboarding is done online, both Muti and Incubator, like many others, do sessions with lots of people, instead of doing them one by one.

There are lots of youtube videos with materials like this, many of the DAOs do workshops, materials like the ones the Portuguese guild translated have been available for quite some time, in addition to Near’s official EN materials.

I don’t have a clear answer to give you, since DAOs are very different from each other, and therefore each DAO has to find the best way to interact with its community, but, in the DAOs I’m in, creating short reading materials (like 1 page) was the way we found to explain the necessary steps for things like wallet, mintbase, etc, and it always worked pretty well.

Sim, entendo. Legal saber, inclusive sugerir pra criar com o onboarding dao, um material sobre isso, pra compartilhar essas estrategias. Nós recebemos 24h/dia 7 dias/semana qualquer pessoa, com interesse de participar, vinda de qualquer lugar. Agora que terminamos a parte estrutural e estamos expandindo os projetos, nossa visibilidade esta aumentando e começaram a aparecer pessoas de lugares fora do nosso ciclo. Nosso twitter pessoal tem 1220 e 2260 da @whoiscavenaghi, o do instagram 1666 e 2020 respectivamente. O do The Clan tem quase 400 por ai. Na nossa estrategia de divulgaçao, é voltada a comunidsde nft em massa, em vez de um trabalho refinado, 1 por 1 ou pequenos grupos. Dae a quantidade que ja chegamos a quase 50 pessoas nesse primeiro mes, vai aumentar, conforme as coisas vao acontecendo, os resultados sendo divulgados e o interesse aumentando. Estamos falando de um cenario diferente, em
breve serao centenas e logo milhares. Esses sao os numeros que atingimos na nossa experiencia. Se nao tiver um preparo agora, teremos problema. Se nao fosse uma coisa de extrema importancia, de alta complexidade, nao teriamos tanta necessidade de fundos pra executa-lo. É super trabalhoso, e estou estimando por baixo que da pra resolver em 1 pagina por topico cada assunto. Mas acredito que vai crescer pelo menos 50% o tamanho, pq por mais que queiramos fazer algo extremamente mastigado, com uma comunicacao leve, de facil digestao, tem coisa que vai ser dificil. O pdf por ter o suporte pra links, serve bem pra direcionar pra partes mais complexas. Mas qualquer divisao gera ruido na comunicacao, é um falha que leva pra perda de foco, e no caso, facilita a nao adesao. Se eu, que hoje estou com uma guilda, tenho muita dificuldade de acessar as informacoes, por motivos variados, o principal sendo tempo, imagina uma pessoa que é no maximo curiosa, sem muito conhecimento. Do pior caso ao melhor caso, ter 100% de acerto ou busca-lo. Esse é o objetivo. No final um pdf aberto com tudo mastigado, pra que qualquer pessoa possa editar com ferramentas online, trocar as fotos, fontes, diagramar como quiser, escolher quais topicos vao entrar ou nao, editar o texto se quiser, etc.
E isso vai servir pra direcionar a criacao de um site, que vai automatizar ainda mais, podendo se adequar a nessecidade do usuario sem precisar da intervencao humana. Num dapp, que é o ideal, a pessoa consegue acessar um pool fund pra receber o welcome gift, ppr exemplo, customizar sua experiencia a partir de perguntas chaves. E isso vai vir do racional desse primeiro singelo pdf, que é resultado da experiencia de varias pessoas, que passaram pelo processo.

Eu percebo as dificuldades que apresentas, quando se tenta expandir uma comunidade em pouco tempo pode ser uma tarefa muito cansativa. Contudo, tenho algumas questões a apontar:

• na lista de tópicos a abordar, referem aconselhamento financeiro. Discordo veementemente de que isto deva ser um tópico educacional.

• Também acho que alguns dos outros tópicos, como social media, marketing, estratégia de vendas, etc, não devem ser incluídos num ‘manual’ de onboarding ao Near Protocol. Isso não quer dizer que não criem esses materiais para os membros da vossa DAO, mas não vejo o interesse para a comunidade mais abrangente. Não que esses temas não sejam interessantes, mas são complexos.

• Li os materiais que já estão na google drive, e notei alguns erros pequenos, ou imprecisões. Não é fácil explicar as coisas sem cometer esses erros, eu próprio os iria cometer se não me preparasse bem. Mas, por isso, dou preferência aos materiais oficiais, já traduzidos pela Guilda Português. • Acho também que um pdf de 40+ páginas é uma má ferramenta de onboarding. A maior parte das pessoas não vai querer ler algo tão extensivo. Seria incrível se vocês se focassem em pequenos manuais, super simples e fáceis de entender, para fazer a primeira fase de onboarding.

• Por fim, penso que o valor pedido é demasiado alto. (O que decorre de eu achar que ter tanto trabalho não é eficaz).

I understand the difficulties you present, when trying to expand a community in a short time it can be a very tiring task. However, I have a few issues to point out:

in the list of topics to address, you mention financial advice. I strongly disagree that this should be an educational topic.

I also think that some of the other topics, such as social media, marketing, sales strategy, etc, should not be included in an onboarding ‘manual’ to Near Protocol. That’s not to say that you don’t create those materials for your DAO members, but I don’t see the interest for the broader community. Not that these topics are not interesting, but they are complex.

I have read the materials that are already on google drive, and noticed some small errors, or inaccuracies. It’s not easy to explain things without making those mistakes, I would make them myself if I didn’t prepare well. But for this reason I give preference to the official materials, already translated by the Portuguese Guild. I think it could be useful for you to talk to them and reuse the already translated materials: [PT] Bem-vindos a Guilda Português! / [EN] Welcome to the Portuguese Guild!

I also think that a 40+ page pdf is a bad onboarding tool. Most people will not want to read something that extensive. It would be awesome if you guys focused on short, super simple, easy to understand manuals to do the first phase of onboarding.

Finally, I think the asking price is too high. (Which stems from me thinking that having so much work is not effective).

Bom dia. Os textos não estão prontos, é apenas um mockup a ser mais aprofundado com os devidos recursos.
Sobre o tópico financeiro, nosso foco são artistas, e existe sim uma questão a ser resolvida, em ajudar a dar dicas e a importancia de hold, stake, e mostrar um panorama sobre a estrutura financeira, afinal cryptomoeda é um assunto financeiro. Como utilizar as redes sociais da melhor forma é um conhecimento a ser passado e de interesse para os artistas que estao integrando no The Clan, ja que nosso intuito é prover ferramentas que eles possam se auto gerir, dentro do conceito da web3. O Guia contara com um glossario e links direcionados pra facilitar a comunicacao de uma forma dinamica cativando o usuario.
Iremos consultar todo o material disponivel, principalmente o oficial, com referenciamento assim que pudermos disponibilizar o tempo necessario pra faze-lo, com um orcamento aprovado pra transformar esse material solto, numa peça dinamica e homogenea. Gostaria de convocar o pessoal do marketing pra essa discussao ja que é um segmento inexistente pois não é apenas de uma area ou outra e sim onboarding, marketing, design e criativos.

Manteremos o tamanho de paginas pois precisaremos de um guia completo, com apenas 1 link pra que facilite a difusao. A complexidade sera resolvida pela equipe.

Poderia marcar os correspondentes dessas areas pra que possamos achar uma resolucao breve, por favor?

Eu sei Apenas tentei demonstrar uma dificuldade que observei. A Near Protocol é uma comunidade enorme e existem muitos materiais oficiais de grande qualidade. Uma proposta destas tem de ter materiais da mesma qualidade.

My first thought would be why not join forces with Onboarding DAO and help support and add value to the initiatives there? Being involved in Crypto, and onboarding in particular for at least 3 years now, there are obvious hurdles that cannot be over come by creating “more” documentation. NEAR already has some amazing onboarding material.

What I DO find important from having spent the past year + onboarding people into DAOrecords and NxM is the personal approach, whether through onboarding calls, AMAs, contests and other forms of community engagement. Given your geographical location it might also make sense to see how to translate things to Portuguese even? It could make all the difference having information in the native tongue of the reader. What about AMA or other video or audio content in Portuguese to possibly reach a wider audience? Let’s try not to reinvent the wheel with more documents that lack a personal touch!

@vandal is exaclty what we are talking. Create a material with personal touch that is opened and anyone can cutomize to their personal touches. Everything is scattered. We need to have it at one place, with one language, to communicate. Being able to change it to attend everyone needs.

Im already have sended a message to the onboarding dao, but no reponse. Twice at the forum. I want to share. We will build this document, and share to the community. At open source.
