[ PROPOSAL ] Near Spaces Auction Live or Space Live Auction at Near SLAN

Hello there! Here we are, again.

We had a conversation at the hypedao telegram chat, with ben about the creation of a near auction at spaces.

I will trow the idea and we build it together

An auction house to sell near arts only using spaces platatorm.

It should happen with a regular agenda
(once a week?)

It should have a team to work out.

  • One person related to spaces twitter platatorm
  • One person for auctioning
  • One person to help, as a moderator and hand of the auctioner, as it helps a lot to control the situation.

Then we need to create a system for the artists to participate. A form, an invitation system, maybe? Artists receive an invitation, and pass this on? DAOs or Guilds rotation? Dont know, ideas.

And thats it.

This is awesome. Doesnt get much more HYPE than a live auction!! I’ve participated in a bunch in the AGAH telegram and over at RARA discord. Live verbal bidding through Spaces would be amazing. I am eager to help with this project.I will write this into the budget!

AGAH and RARA dont have verification for wallets, its trust based. That would be easiest to get started and facilitate more adoption, but is more susceptible to fake bids.

We could ask people to verify their NEAR wallet via Twitter somehow… Not sure if that something someone has implemented already or if we’d have to do it.

Lots of questions to be answered, I’ll post again soon with some thoughts
