Dance Clinic On The Metaverse

INTRODUCTION

The Dance Clinic on The Metaverse is a workshop geared toward helping dancers maximise their talents, manage their careers and integrate into the Near Ecosystem.

Every two weeks, The Dance Clinic will feature dance experts, Web 3 speakers, physiotherapists etc. invited to give workshops and AMAs on Web3 and Dance, how to improve as a dancer, how to manage, treat, etc. dance injuries and many more topics. The Clinic will also include topics on how to make creative Dance NFTs and generally how to make the best of Web 3 tools as a dancer. This workshop is to hold every Sunday on the Metaverse.

MODALITIES

Guest speakers will give talks on relevant, preselected topics (based on their expertise and strengths). Curated questions will then be asked.

Different themes will be addressed per workshop so as to deliver holistic benefits to the participants.

SOME THEMES FOR THE DANCE CLINIC:

For the first four sets, four themes will be treated (not necessarily in the order below):

*Creating Dance NFTs.

*Managing Dance Injuries.

*How To Become A Better Dancer

*Web3 For Beginners

BUDGET

  1. Promotional Graphics and Video - $200

Details:
Every session will have a special flier containing details about the Dance Clinic, the theme, the speaker’s picture and profile. A promotional video will also be made to create more awareness and engagement.

  1. Honorarium For Instructors/Guest Speakers - $300

Dance experts and teachers, accomplished dancers, physiotherapists, long-standing members of the Ecosystem etc. are some of the guest speakers to be featured in the Dance Clinic. If they’re not already on Near Protocol, they will be onboarded.

  1. Moderator - $200

The moderator will curate the questions, ask them, and generally direct the conversation and interviews with the experts. This is not going to be one person indefinitely. We plan that instructors will come from all over the world and so also the moderators.

  1. Incentives For Attendees $70

To consolidate attendance and engagement, attendees will be rewarded for the best questions, most meaningful contributions and most active participation.

METAVERSE

Nearhub is a highly interactive Metaverse hub and once again, will play host to the Dance Clinic.

VALUE PROPOSITION AND METRICS

This Workshop will explore in detail the viability of dance as a tool to propagate and stimulate the adoption of Near by dance professionals and their onboarding too. It’s an experimentation that aims to create a Web3 - Dance synergy.

  1. Onboarding.

  2. 10-20 people in attendance. We will strive to ensure that up to 50% of the attendees will be new Nearcomers.

  3. Dance is an efficient tool for promoting and marketing products and services. Incorporating dance will enhance the spread of Near’s presence and adoption.

  4. The metaverse will be used as the medium for the workshop, thereby enriching its use case and creating the opportunity for people to familiarise themselves with how Nearhub works.

  5. Honorariums and incentives will be paid in Near facilitating the opening of Near Wallets and the use of other affiliate dapps.
