[OVERVIEW] NFT Collecting | Filipino Artist Guild

The NEAR Ecosystem’s Filipino Artist Guild is a group of Filipino artists who assist, mentor, and advocate for their fellow Filipino artists in order to help them develop their skills and promote their work to a wider audience. In lieu with this, we would like to have an event wherein our artists can promote their artworks. The said event aims to:

  • Help the artists to promote and support their projects/artworks.
  • Host four AMAs each month with fellow Filipino artists who don’t get enough attention in the community so that their talents can be recognized.
  • Collect ≥ 30 NFTs from different artists.

Description:

This project will include two distinct initiatives, both of which will be facilitated by members of our council. The first of these is a Twitter space. Every Sunday, the guild will host a Twitter space where we will interview some of the artists who have won our previous art challenges. The second is a shilling tweet in which we will request that everyone shill their NFTs under our tweet.

What:

  1. Invite artists who won on the previous challenges to talk about their project like an AMA. Herewith are the sample questionnaires that can be used on the AMA:
  • What is your project all about and its inspiration?
  • Do you have a project roadmap?
  • Are you open for commissions?
  • What are the styles you’re familiar with?
  1. After AMA with the winner, open the shilling space for artists and support their project.
  • To establish unbiased support of artists, we are going to do a randomizer after shilling and post the results on our official Twitter account.
  • Budget per artist should be not greater than 1 NEAR so we can resell the NFTs with 0.5 to 1 NEAR increments to start self-sustainability drive.

What:

  1. Posting a tweet on the official Filipino Artist Guild Twitter account requesting artists promote their NFTs and artwork.
  1. Collect NFTs from different collections and artists.
  • To establish unbiased support of artists, we are going to use a randomizer.
  • Budget per artist should be not greater than 1 NEAR so we can resell the NFTs with 0.5 to 1 NEAR increments to start self-sustainability drive.
