We would like to apply for funding for NFT Workgroup. Please find below detailed information about the team, what we have been working on and future plans.
About NFT WG
The NFT Work Group is a community-driven initiative that aims to provide solutions and standards for the challenges and limitations associated with NFTs on NEAR. Our primary objective is to revitalize and expand the Near NFT ecosystem to contribute NDC growth targets.:
- Increase the retention rates
- Reduce account acquisition cost
- Build internal dApps and support dapp building projects that retain active users
- Increase social engagements
The Team
We consist of 3 core contributors who were elected by the community in early August:
Krik: With over 15 years of diverse experience in global companies and NGOs, including Project Management, Governance, and HR , passionate about crypto, communities, and NFTs. I serve as a Community Manager to Mr. Brown, creating engaging content and inviting guests for Near at Night Spaces and building SheisNear DAO.
Aescobar: Brigs 7 years of experience in the Hospitality industry, starting as a Barista and progressing to Head of Product R&D, leading a team of Business Development. His journey in Web3 began as a moderator and has since expanded to encompass roles such as Community Manager, Project Lead, Advisor, and Co-Founder.

Punter: With 8 years of experience in the Automation of Banking, Insurance, and Healthcare backend operations, I lead Nearvese Labs (RocketBois NFTs). Nearverse Labs team has developed multiple innovations for Near NFTs since March 2022.

GOVERNANCE
- Follow up meetings and completing requirements of NDC governance bodies on timely manner and with legitimate inputs for the success of ecosystem decentralization process
THE CAP (The Community Activation Programme) :
We will continue to conduct small-scale collaborations with ecosystem partners to gain a better understanding of the motives and needs of communities before launching a large-scale program. Within two months, we will issue a comprehensive report that will also be shared with the Near Foundation Community team. We believe that the findings will help us prioritize and shape the dapps we are building internally.
- Initiate at least 3 campaigns to activate community and track results(Nearcon engagement, continue Arkana quests, Ludero and Popula)
- Finalizing latest changes and marketing of Humans of Near Project to increase activities on BOS and community engagement
INTERNAL DAPPS BUILDING
Collecting the ideas and suggestions to define best products for internal building:

Collaborating with Builders DAO (merged meetings, discussing initiatives to increase collaborative efforts)

Acquisition and maintenance of existing quality NFT DApps built by standard projects to avoid duplication of efforts.

Strategizing and starting to build the Socializer Project.

Refine the “I have an idea” form that projects use to submit their ideas

Final work on internal building ideas and selection of projects to build
· Socializer: Socializer is an engagement amplifier for Near’s social posts, being developed on the BOS. This application empowers creators to initiate campaigns designed to increase visibility and engagement with their Near Social posts. For instance, if Bob offers a 20 NEAR reward for three users who Like, repost, and follow his Near Social account, it creates an incentive for users to interact with his content. The three winners are picked randomly from the list of all eligible participants.
This symbiotic interaction results in creators receiving heightened engagement on their content, while users stand to gain rewards in return. The mutually beneficial arrangement enhances both the creator’s and user’s experience. All the activity on Near Social posts imminently boosts on-chain activity.
