Hello everyone!
In our funding round for February 2024, the NFT DAO received 7 proposals, requesting a total of $47,080. With a budget of $20,000 for community funding, $3,000 for contributors, and $2,000 for marketing and design, we faced a challenging selection process.
Despite numerous requests exceeding our budget, we have been highly selective and focused on funding unique, value-adding proposals in tech, business development, and content creation within the NFT ecosystem.After carefully evaluation of fund requests and budget requirements, we are requesting $13.250 in total.
Given our recent approval on December 31st and a brief 12-day window for applications, turnout was modest. We actively promoted this opportunity, encouraging established NEAR teams to submit proposals. Time constraints, however, meant some teams couldn’t meet the deadline, opting to apply in the next cycle instead. We’re excited about at least 3 upcoming proposals from key ecosystem contributors.

We have partially approved Near Map’s proposal and have requested for more technical artefacts to gauge the second part of their proposal, which would be considered in the next funding cycles.
