Guild: NEAR Protocol Philippines

October was a flurry of activities for the guild:

  • First 1000 followers on Facebook Page (1,112 as of this moment, grown organically)

Our members have been actively engaging and inviting new ones to join the NFT space resulting in exponential organic growth within our community. As a result, we have had so many individuals eager to learn more about the various dApps within NEAR. This has prompted the guild to focus our efforts into educating and drawing them into the variety of DeFi platforms in the ecosystem such as Metapool, Ref.Finance, and the like.

In this report we will be sharing our accomplished deliverables for this month as well as a few community highlights. Also, attached right after are the different stats gathered from our social media platforms for the month of October.

PARAS Tour

Due to the constant amount of interested digital artists inquiring about NEAR and the different NFT platforms within the ecosystem, the NEAR PH community now runs a virtual educational tour of PARAS. This is to get new members familiar with opening wallets, minting and marketing their art.

METApeepool

This is a weekly community call on Thursdays 4pm Philippine time. The call addresses the misconceptions about DeFi. It also talks about the benefits of staking with Meta Pool.
