My only question is that would there a boot camp for people provided with the grants, something like orange dao (y combinator) does,they provide incubation,they mentor them or give them marketing knowledge and everything else they need to succeed,I think asac once recommended that and it should be implemented don’t you think?

All you have said is good but I think you need to look at things more carefully before making a decision and closing or giving a vote of no on proposals without looking back!
You voted no on the shitzu proposal for accusations that had no proper proof.
There were conversations later on but you didn’t respond to them,you voted no immediately an accusation was made and that’s bad/not fair in my opinion.
I even said something but you didn’t reply to the message I sent.
I’m not against you or anything, I’m only against the way you make decisions without taking deep thoughts like you did on shtizu,I hope you change in that aspect.

It’s clear you have the qualities to stand in this role and I throw my weight behind you.
@David_NEAR, while we seek ‘decentralization’, it’s becoming clear that the forum, apart from where proposals are given attention, has become a place where people come to fight others because they can write long paragraphs.
This should be considered and something done about it in key decisions.
Like it was mentioned on the call yesterday by @satojandro, we can’t neglect someone with experience just because others who have issues with people have the forum to say all they want.
As NDC come to stay, many of such characters should.be checked and placed where they belong when it comes to important decisions for the ecosystem.

Hey man, watch your words please. These kind of derogatory statements are not entertained here. If you have any complaints about Klint or anyone, try to bring the proofs and still be respectful there. Don’t use such derogatory comments.
Talking about transparency, if you spend your time here you will know how much transparency is there. Most of the activities are on chain. Your last post was about 4 months ago fella. How would you know the ongoings of NEAR Community.
You accuse David, Dacha & Klint as the same person. What kind of illogical accusation is this?
All three are different and having strong profile & contributions towards NEAR Ecosystem.
While everyone has right to speak doesn’t mean they use bad words and false accusations.

Retribution from Rejecting Previous Proposals
As I noted in my post, I have been very stringent on previous projects.
When I joined the Marketing DAO, I made it very clear that my feedback on proposals would be judged based on the potential quality of the work, the nature of the project and how it reflects the KPIs discussed (wallets, engagement, and the potential for Near to further penetrate the global market).
I wish I could (in good conscience) approve everything. Someone has to make tough decisions. Saying “no,” is the least enjoyable, hardest part, and one of the most important aspects of the Marketing DAO Council member’s responsibility.
For people that feel like I’ve done them wrong, I’m sorry. You are always able to ask for feedback and there are other council members that often take different angles.

I’ll address this accusation with the merit it deserves:
David and I will plan on touching a mirror at the same time to swap bodies at Nearcon just to further confuse people.
Bandwidth for NDC - RIGHT NOW
On the call yesterday, I made an observation about the short notice period for the NDC initiative and the desire to churn out ideas and execute on them quickly.
The issue
Most anyone that is planning on being at NearCon is likely already working on a variety of projects.
In the week leading up to a 4+ day conference, even if you’re just attending, you need to:
- Squeeze in all your current meetings
- Plan to be MIA for all your current projects
- Make family arrangements
- Set meetings / organize your schedule for Nearcon / side events
- And all the other obligations that go with being a human
The Reality:
1). People with lots of competencies and skill sets are busy. They are also the most likely to do the best work.
2). Competent people have prior commitments. Most can’t drop everything to re-arrange their schedule with very little notice (especially in the face of a massive conference). Plenty of people are trying to prioritize NDC right now.
3). If you don’t have an empty schedule, you are surely not able to spend time reverse-trolling and barking back at burner accounts.
I’m out going on 45+ mins just responding thoroughly (in this post) to a throw-away account posting about whether or not I’m a real person.
4). The shift in prioritization won’t happen overnight. Again, the people that are most likely to do great work for NDC are not the ones that have an exorbitant amount of extra time on their hands. I suspect that is why there isn’t as much activity around this at the moment.
I’m offloading more of my responsibilities in the hopes that this whole endeavor will come to fruition.
Side note: I already did this once back in April and May, to focus on building an accelerator and got burned badly.
5). Nothing will happen without the right leadership, talent, time, priorities, and mechanism for feedback laid out. Enthusiasm, ideas, and conjecture are great but planning and execution are my focus at the moment.
Conclusion
A large part of my coming days is to outline core elements, priorities, and skillsets to get things moving. We’re all working really hard. Have some patience.
I’m genuinely concerned this will become an exercise in “innovation theater.”
As I stated, I’m not interested in an unproductive effort that burns time and leads to no action. I’m eager to work with all sorts of people to be sure we’re covering all the bases.
Setting a structure with which there is a clear purpose, ideas can freely flow, and there is a mechanism for vetting and supporting opportunities is the whole game.

I feel so much pity with the progress of Near Nordic.
My humble suggestions is:
It will be interesting to see you apply all this with Near Nordic, maybe you can get more followership from your over 7000 students, then come to the forum with results.
