Jump DeFi: Testnet Announcement

Executive Summary
We’re excited to announce the upcoming public launch of JumpSwap on testnet next week. JumpSwap is the first DEX aggregator on NEAR Protocol, alongside our Automated Market Maker (AMM) platform with fully permissionless Yield Farming Creation. JumpSwap connects NEAR’s native liquidity sources to offer the best pricing for traders, while our permissionless yield farming eliminates barriers for projects.

This post is an invitation to join our testnet campaign, where we’ll be running bug bounties, offering incentives, and hosting a scheduled torture test. Full details on how to participate will be provided in a follow-up post here, as well as through formal announcements via Jump DeFi’s Twitter and Discord.

Key Features:

  1. JumpSwap Aggregator
    Modeled after Jupiter on Solana, JumpSwap adapts to NEAR’s gas limits while connecting to major architectures like Uniswap v2, Uniswap v3, and Central Limit Order Books (CLOB). It scans and splits trades across DEXes to optimize slippage, fees, and price impact.

  2. Automated Market Maker (AMM)
    Our multi-chain AMM offers efficient trading with integration of protocol owned liquidity and the Jump Aggregator. Permissionless, it allows anyone to provide liquidity and earn rewards, opening up DeFi on NEAR to more participants.

  3. Permissionless Yield Farming
    JumpSwap enables any project to create a yield farm without high liquidity requirements. Farms are powered by the project’s own token incentives, making it easier for smaller teams to compete.

Call to Action:

We are seeking support from NEAR community and stakeholders as we coordinate audits and build initial liquidity for the AMM. It is critical that the NEAR eco features more than one AMM, and Jump DeFi is here to provide competition and diversity to NEAR DeFi.

While many projects have exited the NEAR ecosystem, Jump DeFi has been building for over three years despite very limited funding and outside support. Now is the time to back NEAR-native teams committed to the long-term growth of the ecosystem.
