Introduction to the Pictorial and Documentary Photography Community
The Pictorial and Documentary (P.D) Photography Community is a congregation of fine art photographers, Photo artists, abstract and perspective, pictorial and narrative photographers who use their photography to artistically depict reality through the lenses of servitude, community, inclusion and virtue. A community of photographers who see the spontaniety, beauty and unison around and would love to document them for the humanity of it and also for the resonance for which is to provoke emotional and mental resonance.
The P.D photography Community seeks to utilize web3 paradigms in creative autonomy and legitimacy to help photo artists tell stories that would also resonate with human independence as a signature of the web 3 dichotomy. Utilizing Web 3 paradigms would include creation of NFTs with the reputation of the photographer included as a vehicle for propagation.
WHY NEAR?
After doing our research and having experienced that affordability of the NEAR Blockchain we have come to realize that this blockchain platform would be a perfect springboard to expand our web 3 reach and reputation. Web 3 is the next thing and the winners are the creators. The affordability of the NEAR Blockchain makes the concepts of minting look easy and enabling for new adopters. Since we are going to be minting NFTs and creating pedestals for them to build their web 3 reputation while marketing their NFTs. Also, NEAR already has a thriving community which makes it easy for us to request resources, partner and build an already prepared audience in web 3 so its a win win for the PD photography community. We seek to use our community metabolism to bring traction to NEAR and the utility of its technologies, we are going to achieve this by the individual engaging activity module of ours.
By subtly doing outreach through photodocumentary campaigns, street photography etc. we aim to include the subjects into an NFT arrangement where both curator and subject are part of the NFT. Also we would be using narrative photography to tell stories of individuals and places which in their own are fantastic use cases of NFTs and community documentation also
What P.D Photography Community is about?
The mantra of the P.D Photography Community is to convey stories of Human meaning and virtue through pleasurable aesthetics for human enjoyment. Photography is a great tool of communication and a whole lot is usually said in photographs. We believe in using such aesthetic in photography to contribute to the needed healing in the world and an addition to the overall perception of the beauty that is in the world. We strive to create a portal for the entrallment of the audience through stunning photographs and subtle stories underneath the frames. Our activity schedule are rich in content, meaning, direction and utility to challenge maximize the potential of the photographers in our community while also serving our audiences the best of quality that we can muster
Our activity sequence is as follows
Photography Onboarding Projects: An outreach and awareness campaign that engages remote people as models for descriptive or narrative photography. These people are educated about web 3 with their active participation in the education by them being the subject of a narrative photograph, wallets are opened for them in the process and they are shown how the minting takes place with the subsequent assurance to them that once that NFT is bought their created wallets would be created
Documentary Photography: We would be engaging the community with tasks and bounties to propose projects that resonate with the human experience in virtue, responsibility, and sacrifice in everyday society. This is one of the major highlights of the community
Social Series and Shorts: With community engagement and consent we would be using community material to create social media series and shorts for youtube and tiktok and the like. The content created would also revolve around the human experience in virtue and inclusion. This would be obvious since it doesn’t stray much from our mantra
Community Engagement through Web 3 trivia and Quizzes: These trivia would highlight more on the knowledge of applicable and utility Dapps that are on NEAR to encourage patronage and utilization of NEAR Blockchain products

Q1. Onboard web2 members into web3, strengthen brand image through socials, Onboard web 3 photo artists and creators who resonate with the theme so as to aid the newly onboarded web 2 folks, round up community whitepaper, mint NFTs and help broadcast artiste profiles, Grow the community to at least 70 active members
Q2. Request Funding for activities and build observations.com for upload of all community content, create NFTs stemming from community projects, keep a steady sequence of Youtube and TikTok short videos created from the community content, grow the community to 150 active members
