At the NEAR Toronto Regional Community, we are on a mission to foster collaboration, education, and entrepreneurial support within the blockchain community. We aim to empower individuals and businesses in Toronto and beyond to explore, adopt, and thrive in the world of blockchain technology and beyond.
1. Education:
We believe that education is the foundation for blockchain adoption and innovation. Through workshops, webinars, and educational resources, we aim to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and leverage blockchain technology. We cater to all levels of expertise, providing learning opportunities for both blockchain enthusiasts and seasoned professionals.
2. Entrepreneurial Support:
We are passionate about supporting blockchain startups and entrepreneurs in their journey towards success. Our community plans to offer mentorship, networking events, and access to resources that help budding entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of building blockchain-based businesses. We provide guidance on fundraising, product development, marketing strategies, and more, enabling entrepreneurs to turn their innovative ideas into thriving ventures.

To ensure transparency and community governance, we will use AstroDAO to manage regional community funding at near-toronto.sputnik-dao.near.
The interim voting council is composed of three members of the core founding team. This council will expand and diversify as the regional community obtains more interest.
