House of Stake: Transparency Thread Off-topic Posts

Haenko, did you already tell everyone how you drained the Gaming DAO treasury with your “final” payments for so-called consular work?

The three consuls — Haenko, CryptoGarik (a DevHub contributor), and Jeff — pulled out the remaining funds from Gaming DAO:
• $6,300 to Jeff
• $3,300 to Haenko
• $2,000 to CryptoGarik

— all justified based on the “progress review” of your third consul’s project?

NDC is officially over, but people like this remain.

And that’s not all — after NDC was shut down, Haenko paid himself an extra $3,000 as a “final salary.”

Then, on top of that, Haenko also withdrew another $3,500 to his own wallet, using a proposal that was supposedly for the Tenamint project:

To be honest, I don’t quite understand how your comment relates to the report from the WG leads — and what Gaming DAO has to do with any of this. But since you’re publicly accusing me and other respected contributors in the ecosystem, I’ll respond.

After the NDC formally ended, Gaming DAO continued operating for another six months. We were reviewing proposals and milestones. Even though funding from NDC had stopped, we kept working.

After six months, it became clear that some projects wouldn’t be able to submit their remaining milestones. This left unallocated funds with no way to return them. In this situation, we decided it would be fair to compensate ourselves for the work we continued doing throughout that period. This wasn’t a “cash grab” — it was a reasonable and transparent decision under the circumstances.

As for the link claiming I received funds from Tenamint — it doesn’t open, so I can’t verify what exactly it refers to. But I do have a good idea.

The Tenamint team accidentally submitted a funding proposal with my wallet listed as the recipient. It was a mistake. As soon as they noticed it, they created a corrected proposal with the proper wallet.

Here’s a screenshot from our chat confirming that: you can clearly see the team acknowledging the error, stating that the funds were not supposed to go to me, and quickly resubmitting a new proposal. I didn’t receive a single cent from that transaction. Anyone familiar with DAO tools and on-chain records can easily verify this.

So before throwing around public accusations, it would be good to check the facts.

Dear @Watsica,

Thank you for your engagement and commitment to protecting the NEAR ecosystem. I share your dedication to maintaining the integrity of our community.

I’d like to address the concerns raised and provide clarification on the matters mentioned:

Regarding Evgeny’s Involvement
Evgeny was a dedicated contributor to the NDC during its active period, demonstrating consistent commitment to the communities success.

Tenamint Proposal Clarification
The referenced Tenamint proposal was submitted in error and was not approved. Consequently, no funds were transferred in connection with this proposal.

DragonVerse Incubator Payment Details
The $6,300 payment represents the final compensation for the DragonVerse Incubator development team’s completion of milestones 2 and 3:

  • Milestone 2: $2,000
  • Milestone 3: $4,000
  • Total: $6,000 + 5% slippage allowance = $6,300 (at NEAR price of $3.13 USD)

Supporting documentation:

I welcome constructive dialogue about ecosystem governance and appreciate your vigilance. To ensure our discussions remain productive, I encourage reviewing proposal documentation before raising concerns, as this strengthens our collective efforts to maintain transparency and accountability.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of the NEAR ecosystem.

Reading the last updates, enforcer, you were neither given the funds nor the authorization for this. Three petty thieves looted the remaining Gaming DAO treasury — nothing new in this ecosystem. And now one one them is “ voluntarily” acting like a HoS representative.

The final stage of funding was supposed to end on June 16th. As stated: “The Congress will continue to accept funding requests until May 15th, 2024 for activities taking place up to the last day of Congress’ mandate, which is June 16th, 2024.”

Most of the funds were spent on remuneration for the consuls and financing their own projects.

Welcome to NEAR.
