In January, I took part in NDC House of Merit voting and attended weekly meetings. More GDAOs have joined the NDC which has been wonderful to see, and I am looking forward to seeing reports from these DAOs on their activities so far. NDC Ops has been leading weekly sync and voting meetings that have been insightful and mostly productive.
There have been many discussions in NDC Voting meetings about the proposed voting process for the next NDC election. I am hoping to see a voting system that allows for greater privacy and anonymity, while still attempting to be sybil resistant. While there have been many differing opinions, it’s great to see progress being made seeing as the next election is quickly approaching.
In my opinion, privacy/anonymity is more valuable/important than sybil resistance at this stage. I believe the NDC community will grow (real unique users participating in governance) if we allow people to join without them having to share personal data. There is a natural pathway towards KYC (users sharing personal data) when a community member turns into an NDC contributor (funded by the NDC Trust/GDAOs) which is legally necessary and outside the scope of governance.
Looking forward to contributing in new ways in February. As BOS pages get created for the NDC, I hope to be supporting to try and ensure they are efficient for the community.
As a TC officer ( a general member of TC commission), I have attended to all my duties and beyond this month.

Additionally, I engaged in meaningful discussions and maintained open lines of communication with both fellow TC members and external stakeholders, emphasizing collaboration and transparency.
Beyond these tasks, I made a concerted effort to promote NDC events through my social media channels, actively working to involve and inform the community about our initiatives and achievements.
