[Report] November 2023 / NDC HoM / odin
My congressional participation for the month of November includes, but is not limited to the following.
• Continued review of the NDC Legal / Governance framework and consistent reference to and application of said framework within internal discussions and deliberations surrounding processes and procedures within the NDC.
• Maintained open lines of communication with GWG members / NDC legal advisor regarding internal progress in the effort to properly launch v1 governance.
• Active participation in all internal HoM and Congress discussions in development and review of NDC processes and procedures.
• Attended all scheduled internal HoM weekly calls.
• Conducted thorough review and assesment of GDAO funding requests and voted accordingly on all proposals that the Astra++ tooling would allow (some votes closed when quorum had been reached, even though all members did not have the opportunity to cast a vote inside of the minimum polling window mandated by the NDC framework).
• Initiated HoM internal polling in development of processes and procedures, logging polls and results in congressional CRM (clickup).
• Provided suggestions and feedback for consideration by NDC tech team in development of Astra++ tooling.
• Attended and participated in most of the NDC<>Community sync spaces.
• Researched KYC/KYB/AML/CFT service providers across the industry and scheduled demos and sales calls with eight entities.
• Attended scheduled product demos and sales calls with NF Compliance Lead (AA) to evaluate KYC/KYB/AML/CFT solutions for NDC compliance relating to the distribution of funding. Reported findings internally within HoM.
• Conducted thorough review and assesment of applications to NDC job postings and voted accordingly on all proposals that the Astra++ tooling would allow (some votes closed when quorum had been reached, even though all members did not have the opportunity to cast a vote inside of the minimum polling window mandated by the NDC framework).
• Consistently pushed for accountability, transparency, and due process in accordance with the NDC framework.
