Overview of Work:

For the past 1.5 years, I’ve been immersed in the NEAR ecosystem, diligently creating content that encapsulates its dynamic offerings. During this time, my journey has encompassed the creation of 33 engaging videos, hosting 4 live streams, and designing 5 eye-catching banners, all meticulously centred around the NEAR blockchain.

These endeavors have not only been fruitful in terms of output but have also fostered significant engagement. The numbers speak for themselves - a collective viewership of 118,974, 4,569 likes and 2,101 invaluable comments.

I have also actively engaged with my audience on Telegram, where I have posted over 40 posts about p2e games on NEAR, generating 65,000+ views.

Account acquisition cost - budget divided by the number of accounts interacting within the funded initiative (the lower the better)
Last grant funding: $3,500. In the last grant, the number of views on YouTube/Telegram was 24,833 (an average of 2,000 per publication). According to Crypto Gamers: $0.14 per view.
Total impressions for the last grant were 291,700 based on total impressions: $0.012 per impression.

My content creation hasn’t been limited to mere entertainment, it has actively empowered my audience to embrace the NEAR ecosystem. Audience Perception: One of the most gratifying outcomes of my efforts has been the positive change in how my audience perceives NEAR. They’ve come to regard NEAR as a blockchain worthy of trust, eagerly participating in various projects and investing in tokens.

Recognition and Awards:

It’s with pride that I share the news of my blog winning first place in the “Best Content Creator” category at the PlayToEarn Awards 2022. This accomplishment not only serves as a testament to the loyalty of my audience but also promises to expand my channel’s reach, thanks to the recognition from the broader crypto community.

Hi @SOOKAST thanks for the proposal – I note your long-time contributions to the ecosystem. We’re currently allocating funding to a limited number of ecosystem content creators and need to prioritize those who can clearly outline how they will align with and communicate metrics in support of the NDC’s October guidelines.

As I have mentioned on a few other proposals, I know that top of the funnel activity is hard to connect to on-chain activity in many cases, and I am sympathetic to that issue. That said, I would like to hear your thoughts on the KPIs and your answers to the questions #1 and #2 below.

Please use the following metrics that will be used for tracking individual initiatives’ performance by Marketing (Eco) DAO. All the metrics must be attributable to the relevant project/initiative through on-chain activity and off-chain reporting, ensuring GDPR compliance and preserving privacy:

  1. Accounts retention after 1/2/4/8 weeks — the percentage of accounts who continue interacting on the chain over a given time period (higher is better)
  2. Account acquisition cost — budget divided by the number of accounts interacting through the funded initiative (lower is better)
  3. Median number of dApps used by P95 accounts retained for 1+ week (higher is better)
  4. Number of accounts retained for 1+ week using at least three dApps (higher is better)
  5. Social engagement score — some compound metric of the number of posts, likes, and followers/views in social media produced by the users.

Let’s take this example: Why should Marketing (Eco) DAO fund Project X?

  1. Project X should have a clear goal and target audience
  2. Project X should bring improvements to several metrics listed above

Based on the above, can you share:

  • Most recent report for latest funding
  • Which of the above KPIs your initiative will use if funding is received
  • How you will track and share the results with MDAO so we can have visibility into the results?
  • What is the most important aspect of this proposal, the most crucial to fund – what will have the most impact for the community?

The reality is that MDAO has 30+ pending proposals for limited funds. Thanks for answering the questions and being open to the feedback.
