Overview of Work:

For the past 1.5 years, I’ve been immersed in the NEAR ecosystem, diligently creating content that encapsulates its dynamic offerings. During this time, my journey has encompassed the creation of 33 engaging videos, hosting 4 live streams, and designing 5 eye-catching banners, all meticulously centred around the NEAR blockchain.

These endeavors have not only been fruitful in terms of output but have also fostered significant engagement. The numbers speak for themselves - a collective viewership of 118,974, 4,569 likes and 2,101 invaluable comments.

I have also actively engaged with my audience on Telegram, where I have posted over 40 posts about p2e games on NEAR, generating 65,000+ views.

Account acquisition cost - budget divided by the number of accounts interacting within the funded initiative (the lower the better)
Last grant funding: $3,500. In the last grant, the number of views on YouTube/Telegram was 24,833 (an average of 2,000 per publication). According to Crypto Gamers: $0.14 per view.
Total impressions for the last grant were 350,700 based on total impressions: $0,00998 per impression.

Crypto Gamers has organized over 100 collaborations with different GameFi projects like Illuvium, Axie Infinity, Apeiron, Cards of Ethernity, etc. , including tournaments and events, showcasing expertise in creating diverse gaming activities.

My content creation hasn’t been limited to mere entertainment, it has actively empowered my audience to embrace the NEAR ecosystem. Audience Perception: One of the most gratifying outcomes of my efforts has been the positive change in how my audience perceives NEAR. They’ve come to regard NEAR as a blockchain worthy of trust, eagerly participating in various projects and investing in tokens.

Recognition and Awards:

At the moment, the audience of YouTube and Telegram has been very successfully covered.The audience perceives NEAR as one of those blockchains that can be trusted, people ready to enter projects and buy tokens.

Also, I consider it important to write that my blog won first place in PlayToEarn website, nomination “best content creator”: PlayToEarn - Awards 2022, Best Content Creator National - Best Content Creator National 2022 - PlayToEarn Blockchain Game Awards 2022 | PlayToEarn

This means that my channel receives additional traffic from people who read this website, plus this is proof of the loyalty of my audience, since the choice was made by the community.

Also, we tried a new format of native advertising, which showed the result in the form of greater coverage and interaction with new audience!

New Formats and Synergy Guild:

In the pursuit of innovation and broader reach, I’ve ventured into the realm of native advertising. This endeavor has borne fruit by significantly enhancing our coverage and fostering meaningful engagement with new audiences.

Currently we also have a rapidly growing Synergy guild, uniting experienced players, bloggers, marketers and other GameFi specialists who focus in creating engaging activities for audiences through high-level tournaments and events.

We handpick active players for our guild, involving them in our tournaments and events across various GameFi projects. Within a month, we’ve recruited over 200 active players, including esports players from web2 games like League of Legends: Wild Rift, Paragon, Mobile Legends and Artifact.

This guild is an excellent tool for attracting a new audience through events and tournaments.

Currently, this is not a paid part, but we aim to use this resource as an additional way to help ecosystem grow - Synergy Guild

Among other things, we would like to add the following:

1 - We help the ecosystem to grow by increasing its visibility in the information field and constantly releasing ecosystem-related content.

2 - We have an interest in the ecosystem’s development and maintaining long-term collaboration, attracting more and more people to it.

3 - Organize events to increase audience engagement in NEAR projects, for example: a quiz contest.

4 - Conducting an “AMA” in our community, aimed at answering questions about NEAR projects and assisting in familiarizing with the platform.

5 - Gathering results once a week to understand what the audience prefers and what interests them more, thereby focusing more attention on those aspects.

6 - I’ve been on the platform for over 1.5 years and fully understand all its aspects, allowing me to share this information with the participants of my community.

7 - One of our main goals: Increasing the number of active users and transactions.

8 - Attracting web2 gamers to web3 and assisting them in adapting to the blockchain environment. GameFi is an excellent tool to introduce web2 gamers to the blockchain industry.

9 - We will gather feedback from our audience on all aspects related to the ecosystem.

10 - Based on the collected feedback, which we’ll be happy to provide, we’ll also be ready to offer development ideas, adding our analysis on the matter.

Hi @SOOKAST thanks for the proposal. I think the part of this proposal that is the most interesting and potentially impactful to the NEAR ecosystem is the Synergy Guild you mentioned and the possibility of tournaments. I realize this is not part of the funding request. This group sounds like it could have the potential to introduce new audiences to NEAR games and help recruit active players. I would be more likely to support something really closely focused around a NEAR gaming initiative aimed at a group like that to gauge results.

I know you have been a participant in the ecosystem for a long time, and I don’t doubt your sincerity around wanting to support the NEAR community, but I can’t support this proposal. Here are a few reasons why:

  • Much of the example content is a year old and was created/published back when the MarketingDAO funded influencers, a practice we have really pulled back on because of the lack of impact and transparency issues around reporting. Supporting this would mean reverting to a model we have decided doesn’t return the impact we need to see in order to allocate community funds.
  • We don’t support funding paid advertisements on social media platforms. It’s out of scope.
  • I think $1K for posting Telegram content is far too high. I understand there is some work to repurpose content across channels, but I think this is part of the work of growing a platform and not something that warrants funding as an add-on.
  • I don’t think the NEAR wordmark in the video example you shared is providing much value. There’s no mention – other than a link to Aurora – of NEAR/Aurora in the description and the video itself is about blockchain project. It doesn’t help build the NEAR brand in an impactful way.
  • We are looking to fund projects where the potential benefit to the NEAR ecosystem is at least equal if not greater than to the project itself. In this case, I think the benefit would be more to the advantage of your platform.

I didn’t quite understand the reason why you emphasized the year-old videos, considering that in the last six months, I have released 12 videos on NEAR projects. Creating high-quality videos is meticulous work that requires more effort and time than a stream or AMA sessions. The fact that some of my videos are a year old is not a negative factor and I see no reason to remove them from my channel. I would be happy to create more content constantly if I receive your support because I will have opportunity to spend more time on it. At the same time, the cost of my content in relation to views is incredibly low compared to others. The NEAR ecosystem is currently launching the Gaming DAO and it’s the perfect time to develop this direction. My channel is well-suited for this and has a real impact in the GameFi field with an active audience that can significantly influence the development of this direction in the NEAR ecosystem.

I did not request funding for paid advertising. My request is for assistance in the development and recognition of the NEAR ecosystem.

The CPM indicator in my Telegram, compared to other GameFi bloggers, is already 1.5 times below average. However, I will lower the price to $75 per post because I like this platform and want to continue helping its development. Average price per 1 view is 0.035$.

The banner serves as excellent native advertising, capturing the user’s attention and enhancing the project’s recognition, which, among other things, contributes to attracting users from other blockchains. If you believe that the banner is unnecessary in this case, I will also remove it from the proposal. If you have suggestions on how to improve its effectiveness, I would be glad to hear them and reintroduce the banner accordingly.

I changed the prices for Telegram posts and removed banners.

I have no formal agreements with Gaming DAO, and I am not a part of their organization. I am only available to assist in the development of this direction if my help is needed.

In that case, I would like to know what distinguishes me from those who typically receive approval for such requests. Specifically, what aspects could I change/fix to gain approval?
