Despite the challenges, DAOLLYWOOD’s vision remains clear that bringing both world of the cinematic universe and the Web3 metaverse together will be beneficial to both parties.
This month, we intend to do this by engaging aspiring and established filmmakers within and outside the NEAR ecosystem in two bounties.
A WEB3 SHORT STORY SCRIPT
This bounty is for writers/scriptwiters to come up with a short story that mirrors the realities of our times: the Web3 age.
Cost : $320
ONE SCENE BOUNTY + 200 CHALLENGE
Using the three winning Web3 scripts, we organise a bounty to get 3 Filmmakers who will bring these 3 short stories to life.
Cost : $1300
DAO Management : $380 for our social media & platforms, onboarding and creation of wallets & minting NFTs.
TOTAL: $2000
WHAT WE INTEND TO ACHIEVE
The 3 short films will educate(though in a subtle way, which is the best way) people about Web3, NEAR and NFTs.
Onboarding of not less than 30 Filmmakers and Scriptwriters into the NEAR ecosystem. Which will be an infusion of fresh talent and minds to the ecosystem.
Creation of NFTs from the short films & scripts which will be sold as a way to create income for DAOLLYWOOD, as part of our strategy to self sufficiency.

How you can assure that quality of your content will be professional by using a smartphone?
Thanks, @Paul the bounty is the one that involves the use of smartphone, they will shoot a scene with their phone and the 3 Filmmakers with the best one scene shot with their phones will be selected to shoot the full short film with professional cameras of their choice.
We are not selecting any participants. All our events are open to everybody. Both people in and outside the near ecosystem.
All our activities and events will be widely promoted on all our platforms and other film related DAOs
It is an opportunity to bring more Filmmakers in the near ecosystem & also support the ones we already have in other DAOs
For three months straight you and your ‘other’ moderators have rejected our proposals despite making adjustments to it and answering all your questions. I have seen less ‘useful’ proposals get approved. People engaging in vanity projects and personal projects are approved and our proposal of bounties to support creatives is rejected. Despite all the work we have done registering our astrodao, creating socials, onboarding people all with our resources, yet you can’t give us the benefit of doubt of approval of just one proposal, let’s prove ourselves?
Let it be known that the @creativesdao didn’t give us a chance. Atleast allow us to do a project and if it’s not successful then you can shut us down.
You need to give DAOs a chance. You keep supporting certain people & shutting others down. No system built on favouritism & nepotism succeeds.
Even this comes as being sore losers but this is me speaking my mind instead of holding a grudge.
Since your decision is final and we don’t have any chance of appeal, no problem.
