ONE FILMMAKER, ONE PHONE, ONE SCENE

Storytime used to be one of my favourite times as a kid when my elder ones and relatives come around to tell me and my brothers’ stories and fairytales of all kinds. I have a very active imagination even til now, lol, always get lost in that world of stories.
This proposal is inspired by this history of the mine and I would like to share my world with the community here. I believe everyone in this community believe stories and movies can be shot with our smart phones. A PHONE IS the most used gadget in the world.
So why don’t we have a Lil fun with it.

We select from three script that and shoot one of the scene with our smartphone. The creators of the best scene will be selected and given $200 & 200hours (The 200 Challenge) each to turn the full script to a short film and the best short film as selected by DAOLLYWOOD council and public votes will be selected.

Winner gets $700 grant for a film project of their choice.

$200 each for the 3 participants of the 200 Challenge

$700 grant for the overall winner.

$200 X3 = $600 + $700 = $13000

Benefits of this bounty & the 200 challenge

  1. Participation of filmmakers within and outside the near ecosystem in the bounty.

  2. The three participants of the 200 challenge will assemble their crew and cast and onboard them for their project.

  3. Clips from the three short films will be made into NFTs.

Hi. Are you going to shoot your actors on camera and reward them? What does Near have to do with this? Do you have samples of your work? Could you please show them. Your final amount indicates $13,000. Maybe it’s a typo, fix it.

The bounty is not for me. And the prize is $1300 sorry it was a mistake. We are to shoot the one scene. But in the 200challenge, the actors will be paid from the $200. The money is not for the filmmaker but for the production of the short film

Also, i believe you should tag the DAO you are representing and add ‘proposals’ and ‘bounty’

From the looks of it’s a bounty. He mentioned DAOLLYWOOD, so I guess it’s through DAOLLYWOOD

The film might not directly be about Near but i guess it would involve participation of nearians, onboarding of folks to near, NFTs etc.

Hi. @Damilola
Your videos will not be related to the Near ecosystem, will not promote the blockchain through advertising and project development. Why should Near sponsor this? What is the benefit for the community?

Thanks @pathfinder for your observation. We have linked this bounty/project with a Scriptwriting bounty. The scripts that will be used in making the films will involve NEAR, DAO & NFTs.
