Welcome to THE CLAN DAO, a digital warm place, created to support artists on the run, with information, jobs, good music, food, and a bed.

As you approach, you can see at the door, carved into wood, the phrase.

We are settled at the internet, with all the available tools. We are not a real place at the real life, yet, but we intend to work irl events.

Our main channel of communication is the telegram atm, as we build the other plataforms.

  • We were able to bring onboard some artists to work with AfrikaBurn project, as they provided the resources for them. So we created a team to make a curated work and delivery a NFT collection with the AfrlikaBurn concept, to be released with their deadline. 22 Oct.

The AfrikaBurn store where we are able to mint at the release date.

*Created the CC folder for the DAOs to use it as a place to easy access materials that need to be shared, as design resources, etc.

*We are working on a series of video production for The Wrong Biennal, to be delivered at 15 oct, with our pavillion at the event.

*We are setting all the online structure, social medias, creating the material for the clan, texts, a pdf of the project, etc.

*Onboarding everyone that are already into our team, and recruiting new ones. We have 22 new artists with a wallet, near and at The Clan mintbase store working at the projects.

*Setting the Artists with Children segment, where we will create a Nursery, a residence project and more to be started at November.

*Finishing the Collab Themed Comissioned Project, where we will release 4 NFTs per month, created by 2 artists + the clan curation to be sold at mintbase at November.

After a first glance, a lot of this looks great but it would be wonderful to see more links included.

How should people join this Telegram group? Is anyone welcome?

Are there only three members of the guild? It seems like there are many more in Telegram. Do you mean that this is the core council?

Would be great if this was a link to your DAO.

I would suggest planning for an October funding period so that it is simpler to keep up with. (Also since the 15th of September has already passed…)

Everything below this line in the proposal should be links to already approved plans for the DAO.

If you are going to reference another groups proposal, I would also suggest you link The Proposal in question.

In the most recent proposal from the CUDO DAO, you should be able to see that each of the intended projects is linked out to another Forum post discussing the project in more detail.

Does this mean to on board new artists to Mintbase? Or is this just a question of adding minters? Makes a huge difference especially considering the amount of $ you’re requesting for this action.

And if it’s to onboard artists to Mintbase isn’t that what your newcomer onboarding fund (below) will be set to cover?

I’d like to see some more detail for this:

  • how many videos?
  • how many artists/videographers, etc. will be involved?
  • link to the website for The Wrong Biennal?
  • how many expected attendees to the event?
  • will you be trying to onboard folks with new NEAR wallets?
  • how will you be measuring success - # of video views? # of new connections made?

Link for more context or information about this? Who are you looking to collab with - other Guilds and DAOs or Guild artists or…? - and how are themes decided upon?

Heh there! ^^ Thank you for the reply! Im making the post for each Clan Project so I will explain it, as we are already doing each one of them, and whats the idea, agenda and system behind them. They are all connected as The Clan is the curator, attending a propose.

The fund to the stores was calculate for 3 stores based on the CUDO dao item for these . The Clan Store, The Nursery ( not created yet ) and The Collab Collection ( not created yet ). Its for maitenance purpose only, for costs, storage and any other fees it would have.

The onboard is calculate 1N per artist, to help them. As we had a 11 new wallets, Im expecting to be able to support the same amount, at least. We already have 5 new ones atm.

Did a few changes:

The onboard will be 0.3N per new artist as we can help more people, so i transfered 80usd from the maintenance costs of the mintbase stores to the onboard fund.

Added the Tokens Economy project we are creating, at our first stage. Linked and explained almost all the itens.

adjusted the council part to be more realistic under the 30% and its a lot of work ^^
250usd to 400usd per council x month

The edits I’ve seen so far look great and yes, it can definitely be a lot of work to manage a community.

As there are bounties gong to the council, it would also be appropriate for each council member to have their own topic posted with the tasks they intend to complete throughout the month; their metrics and goals as well. This is the post that they would use to submit their proposal and also the post they would reply to for their end of month retrospective showing their progress towards those goals.

Yes! Thank you for the reply. As we are adjusting at this very beggining, mixed with working already going on of the preparation of our own works at The Clan, and the transition from a different perspective, we will be blurring these a lil bit.
As im more confortable with the plataform, the english as well, it became more centralized at my acc. But soon these parts over, for sure. The rest of team are working into different parts of the ecosystem, to make it work. And all of us, are participating at some point of the whole, so we knew how it works, as the whole. @brunoqual and @whoiscavenaghi are working at their main project piece post and i will review the english, and they will post it, today.

The posts for the DAO do not need to be in English, please feel free to have guild members post in their native language. If needed, you can always post replies in English when questions for clarification are asked.

A proposta parece interessante :smiley:

Notamos que de certa forma estão envolvidos em muitos projetos ao mesmo tempo. A @mecsbecs já pontuou alguns problemas e a @chloe outros. Mas há alguma falha na comunicação entre nós e acho que é devido à linguagem, traduções entre pt en… Etc. Por isso estou a disposição e tb a @tabear a esclarecer como normalmente as Daos têm feito para atingir objetivos ao longo do tempo.

Normalmente começam com projetos pontuais e com pouca responsabilidade, e conforme mostram o trabalho, confirmam que estão a ser feitos com reports e resultados… Os projetos crescem, de maneira sustentável e assim as DAOs passam a pedir mais financiamento. Como é o caso da Cudo DAO e da Incubadora, que começaram com projetos mais simples e com menos responsabilidades e depois requisitaram mais. E assim por diante. A confiança e credibilidade dentro do ecossistema é contruindo pouco a pouco.

A ideia que fiquei é que os próprios membros de cada DAO poderiam utilizar os folders para fazer uploads de conteúdo. Este valor de management do folder seria para que exatamente?

Ola Juliana, tudo bem? Obrigado pelo feedback.
Nosso coletivo trabalha ja de longa data em grandes projetos artisticos envolvendo arte e tecnlogia, desde 2008. Mas entendemos a questão de confiança e podemos nos organizar, melhor à isso. Acredito que o que falta é uma agenda visual sobre esses projetos, pois eles parecem muito, mas na real não são.

Temos 2 oficinas acontecendo ate a 3 semana de outubro. Depois da oficina iniciamos os dois projetos maiores que sao o da collab e o nucleo de familias com criancas. Paralelo sao projetos estruturais que servem uma coisa a outra. Redes sociais, identidade visual, criaçao doa tokens, fundo pra receber os artistas pro near, tipbot e pequenos custos da blockchain, fundo pras bounties de traducao, e como fazemos tudo no celular, pedimos uma pequena ajuda de custo pra comprar carregadores novos, um cartao de memoria e 1 teclado pequeno.

Sobre o CC, o funcionamento é que cada DAO alimente suas pastas, mas pra isso acontecer é preciso dar suporte. Add e remover quem pedir o acesso prq sua pasta, organizar e criar as pastas, e administrar isso. Os 100 usd é pelo suporte, criaçao e manutençao da ferramenta.

Notamos que estão a trabalhar antes de ter a proposta aprovada e que, provavelmente terão de pedir em retroativos, mas não é assim que normalmente funciona o processo de financiamento e o funding não se faz em retroativos. Primeiro estrutura-se os projetos, pede-se o feedback, há as melhorias e alterações necessárias e depois é que se começa a trabalhar nos mesmos. Sugestão: Focar e simplificar as propostas (atenção, é o primeiro pedido de funding e já estão a pedir quase o máximo possível que se pode pedir…), estruturar melhor o pedido para o mês de Outubro já com as adaptações e apenas com os projetos que ainda não aconteceram e que precisam do funding para acontecer (e aí sim passar a trabalhar neles).
Penso que este é o processo que todas as Daos passam até estarem mais alinhadas/organizadas.

Outra opção /sugestão : dividir a proposta/post em duas partes e sim, uma agenda visual ajudaria muito para que tenhamos uma ideia mais ampla e ao mesmo tempo mais fácil de digerir :blush::blush:

Correto. O unico projeto que esta em andamento é o do AfrikaBurn e apenas 1 semana, os outros estão parados esperando aprovação para poder dar andamento. Podemos separar os projetos que estao faltando mais detalhes que foram pedidos pro outro mes, e resolver os que estao prontos?

Fizemos, diminuimos os orçamento pra quase a metade mudando dois projetos pra novembro e retirei o pedido pra compra de equipmanento.

Done, moved two projects to november, and toke off the request for buying equipment , then it was cutted to the half.

Was this already funded from the previous proposal marked approved? In my opinion doing 3 tokens is very ambitious and would require some thought to the tokenomics structure.

No, nothing was funded yet. Im at a position to open a project after this, involving the guilds, near-land vlad project, and tokenconomy. But we need to first set these, so i can move tonthe next step. We will create 2 tokens for our governance system, at first, and token for this guilds project.
