Hello team, we are new kids on the block in the NEAR community but we hope that this post will help us to introduce to the community; our project is about the climate change and reforestation; bellow we share our project’s presentation.

As part of our project we maintain weekly meetings to keep advance in our project, in our weekly meetings we introduce to new people about our project and in one of these we know a member of NFT Global Gallery, and we were invited to speak about our project in their next event in CDMX; so is a good opportunity to make networking, speak, attract talent to our project, introduce Near Protocol to the assistants and maybe give some swag

Our budget is to mint and giveout some NFT Trees like this: Perennis Tree - Paras but this will not the main attractive, we will giveout some flower seeds to the assistants, so they can reforest in some garden and take part of our project

Then, we are asking for sponshorship to travel and stay in CDMX to 3 people of our team, the approximated costs are bellow:

We hope an attendance about 300 people based on previous events; our speech will be on saturday but we’ll stay with a spot all the event and explaining our project, the Near Protocol and giving out some swag like stickers, tshirts and creating wallets to giveout our NFTs (as all can see the NFTs will be minted in Paras).

With the amout of assistants we have a budget of at least 15% (45 wallets created and funded with 0.1N and a NFT minted), this budget is included into the merchandishing item, and involves the introduction of new users into Near Protocol and Paras Marketplace, the budget is at 15% because the most of the attendees are users of Polygon Blockchain, but we’ll do our best to introduce them into the Near Community

Hello @cryptocredit thanks for your comments, I’ll try to explain:

In fact until today there’s no link about the event, so in the request I clarify that I’ll share the link as soon as they share to us and in case of rescheduling or canceling the event I’ll update the proposal status; we just want to gain some time to allow the workflow to be completed in time (At this time i’ll ask the organizer about the link).

About the DAO same as the event, the DAO will be created soon in Astro DAO, not into the Polygon blockchain (The event is about NFTs, not only focused into the Polygon Network, and that is a good opportunity to attract people into the Near Environment); as I say, our project is in an early stage, but we decide to take the speak because we want to attract more people into our project and this event is a good opportunity to give some free NFTs (creating new Near wallets) and give some seeds to involve the people into reforestation.

About the budget defined into the Near Community we plan this:

First of all I want to clarify that our project is based into the Near Blockchain, as I’ve say before was because the Climate Neutral Policy, and the second one is about the great community that we find here, when we met each other into NCD and we decide to start our project.

Hi @Do0k13 thanks for the proposal – I would like to be able to support this – here are a few things I would like to see that will help me be able to do so:

• Please include links to any marketing or social accounts your team will use for promotion during the event so we can review those alongside the proposal.
• We are getting a lot of requests these days for support to travel and attend events, so we need to prioritize proposals that have clear metrics for success so we can track the outcome. Can you update this to include the metrics you plan to use to determine whether this is a successful event for your team and also NEAR? Check out the recent proposal from @rhymetaylor for an example of metrics.
• Is this your first funding request from the MarketingDAO?
• Note that the MarketingDAO cannot be responsible for fluctuations in costs (travel, NEAR, etc.). If you get approved, during the payout, you can request funds in stablecoin.
• Note that it can take up to 5 weeks from time of a proposal posted on the Forum to payout after approval, so you will only want to proceed with this proposal if you can accommodate the reality of the timing that can take place given all the variables.

Very exciting to see people that have completed their NEAR Certified Analyst (NCA) and NEAR Certified Developer (NCD) training through the Education arm of the NEAR Foundation go on to be active members of the community able to represent NEAR at local events in the ecosystem.

Happy to support this proposal. Few notes that influenced my decision:

• Formal training through NEAR official courses places you in a great place to explain NEAR to others (opportunities, technical aspects, etc.)
• Detailed list of participants, including relevant experience and links to LinkedIn profiles
• Very low cost of proposal. I believe we can easily obtain much more value from attendance than the money being spent.

You’ll need support from two additional Council members to move this to approved. Keep it up!

This is our first proposal, but we are trying to do our best to explain our proposal; sincerely we are trying to expand our project.
