Hey @marianeu and the mintbase team. For me, the Mintbase x Astrodao workshop in Amsterdam does not fit in the realm of creatives dao funding and maybe might be more appropriate for a marketing dao proposal?

Hi @ted.iv,

this is a little bit unfortunate, but it’s okay I guess. I will not ask marketingdao because we got a big grant for the for merch on an ongoing conference. We’ll just pay my expenses from what we have :slight_smile:
I exchanged that 2k USD proposal for the for 3278,99 USD for the sponsorship of IRL NFT workshop:

this happened in march but we’ll pay them now in april!

Hey @marianeu , for me this project also doesn’t really apply to creatives dao either, and is also an event that has already happened last month. It might also help to differentiate the 5k funding limit from what would be paid from existing funds or external sources. Thanks!

the event happened last month, but they are always paid after the work is done, am I right?

I think I need to learn more about what creativesDAO is funding, because until now we never had this kind of problem…

when I talked to @starpause from astrodao he also was under the impression that my travels to amsterdam would fit the creativesDAO funding thing

No, projects are not paid out retrospectively as per the creatives dao guidelines here.
Actually reading through this doc might help the understanding a bit. It’s worth noting that it’s a moving process and things are being shaped as we go, but I guess to simplify here, the focus of creatives is to fund the creation of projects in the artistic sphere.

Please create a poll on the Creatives DAO Astrodao, so that the council can vote.
