A place for artists to collaborate and flourish. Garden Collective is a platform for creation and expression.
Garden Collective was born in Cork, Ireland, and is now based in Lisbon, Portugal and has been running events consistently since 2017, even throughout the pandemic with both IRL events and live streams to support artists. This is the next big step for Garden Collective as we enter the world of web3 with the aim of continuing to support artists and contribute our experience and knowledge from events management to this ecosystem. Tasks for March:
Astrodao setup
- The first step in the process of DAOifying Garden is to setup our Astrodao with the 4 council members. A process that will be assisted by Ted.IV as he has the experience, but he will give a workshop to the other members in terms of functionality and processes.
Setup the various channels

The second step is to introduce ourselves to the various used channels in the web3 world. As an existing collective, we already have many channels, but we would start this next step by establishing a Telegram group for anyone interested in collaboration and depending on interaction also consider a discord server.

Update existing channels
The main part of this would be to update our website for future Garden developments. We’ve already had this website for quite some time, but due to a lack of time and resources, it has been difficult to keep up to date and develop.
- Introduce new people to the community
As a well-established collective with a community in both Portugal and Ireland, we aim to begin introducing some of the many artists we have collaborated over the years into the NEAR ecosystem through creative collaborations. This process can be quite a jump for some people, so we are allowing time for some one-to-one onboarding sessions,group chats, and workshops for small groups to keep it personal and supportive.
In order to get started on the projects and progression explained above, we are requesting the following funding for the month of March:

As explained above, we would like to setup on telegram, invite and moderate this and also update our existing website as the first steps.

Collaborative Bounty:
As an intro to the NEAR ecosystem and to begin planting the seeds for future collaborations, we would like to run an Art competition open to anyone to submit pieces to.

Council Matters:
- $480 - to be divided between the members depending on tasks completed.
Ted.IV will not be taking a council payout for this month as is considered part of his work for Creatives DAO as a moderator while the DAO is getting setup.
