Summary:

A three-day residency based event in Lisbon, Portugal, where team members will contribute their artistic/cultural speciality and work as an ensemble to devise a one-off multi-disciplinary performance. The process will be facilitated by creative director Ciarán MacArtain (The Crossover / Strive Theatre) through a series of focussed workshop based activities. This collaborative work will then be performed to a live audience at the end of the residency (25th & 26th of September) and live streamed to the mutidao cryptovoxels space and a watch party in Cork, Ireland (where Garden Collective was born and The Crossover is based). The core team of creatives are a mix of Irish and Portuguese based artists following the ethos of Garden and The Crossover of multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural creativity.

The creative team will consist of Ciarán as director who will also be covering the theatre aspect, a dancer, musician, poet and visual artist. The combination of these creatives will form a one-of-kind show that we plan to live stream via the mutidao cryptovoxels space.

We have secured funding for the production of the live show and the residency as well as artist fees, and we are proposing here is for the following funding to connect this event with the digital space via the mutidao and their cryptovoxels space:

  • 20N for the setup of a mintbase store and the minting of the event artwork as an NFT via this store.
  • 120N for a professional live stream multi-camera setup that will stream via the mutidao cryptovoxels space on the saturday night.

Who are we?

Garden Collective:
A collective of like-minded people building a platform for artists to create, share, and collaborate across all areas of culture. Founded in Cork, Garden collective is now made up of a diverse group of people based in Lisbon, where we blend roots with shoots and do cool stuff.

30+ events in both Ireland and Portugal. 200+ artists collaborated with. 3 music releases. 50+ videos produced. Several collaborations such as Culture Ireland, Galeria de Arte Urbana, Embassy of Ireland Lisbon, Arroz Estúdios, Ethical Assembly and more.

This looks great, we’re more than happy to support this project and are looking forward to your stream. We’d love to add the minted NFTs from your new store in the cryptovoxels parcel so that they can be displayed on the walls during the stream.

Project is approved, we would recommend to split the amount the following:

  • 70N prior to the event to cover the set up of the mintbase store, onboarding all the artists & mint their pieces as well as orga for the stream set up
  • 70N once the event has been streamed to cover working hours and set up

Once the project is finished, please submit a brief report in here with the created wallets of the artists and their artworks and number of participants for example :slight_smile:

We are happy to go ahead with the funding split as mentioned above and we are currently working on onboarding some artists to display their works. We will keep you updated.

We have sent through the proposal for part 1 of the funding via the muti sputnik.

Hello!

We are happy to say that the live stream went really well and we also used the funding to set up our mintbase store. We commissioned artist nillynoon.near to create 3 unique NFTs for the exhibition space in cryptovoxels and artist tediv.near recreated the event artwork into an NFT also to be displayed and sold.
