  7. Reflections on a Single Line
    A collaboration between the VN Artists DAO and the Near Writer’s Guild.
    100 USD in USN was sent to the Writer’s Guild Treasury by the VN Artists Dao in remuneration and this surplus will be kept in the Guild Funds pending proper use towards one of the Guild initiatives.

Learnings:

  • Bounties do onboard individuals, but events and media are needed to reach audiences beyond our ecosystem. Social media will continue to be expanded in tandem with live readings and events.
  • Contests that feature calls for specific types of poems must be thoroughly explained to the community and deadlines for contests must be listed with a clear timezone.
  • Contests with high value prizes must be coupled with heavy social media advertising or the prize values should be reduced.

  • Begin to build impressions and sense of belonging in the community.
  • Understand the kind of content and formats that are most effective in the media channels.
