DAOrecords - An Official Guild & DAO Introduction
Greetings my NEAR family! Most of you might not know this, but nxm-dao was initially set up as a vehicle for DAOrecords and ultimately turned into a meaningful use-case and proof of concept for building community around Web3 tools and the NEAR ecosystem.
With that said, I’d like to formally, and officially, introduce the DAOrecords Guild & DAO for the purpose of announcing that we are finally ready to rock and build our launchpad!
MISSION:
It is the mission of DAOrecords to support and facilitate the growth of a new, independent and decentralised music industry through the adoption of Web3 technologies by providing artists, collectives and labels the tools and services they will need to pivot and succeed.
VISION:
Our vision is one that puts the artist first and empowers the community through the initiatives set forth by the DAO. By leveraging the NEAR ecosystem we aim to showcase how DAOrecords can impact the future of Music3.
OBJECTIVES
Purpose & Objectives of DAOrecords:
- Facilitate the release of Audio NFTs
- Provide a platform to showcase musical talent
- Onboard artists and labels to the web3 space
- Educate the community by showcasing ecosystem tools
- Fund creative endeavors by the community
- Encourage collaboration
- Create opportunities and reward participation
- Establish partnerships with the broader ecosystem
- Focus on supporting underserved communities
ROADMAP:
DAOrecords has been a work in progress since December 2019. Experimenting and innovating over the past 2 years has allowed us to refine what we’ve accomplished and unveil this 2022 Roadmap.
