[Budget] Creatives DAO Budget - August 2021

For the month of August 2021, we wanted to share an overview of the Creative’s DAO budget with the creative community so that we as the council (@mecsbecs and I) can be held accountable.

Also, this serves to update the community on what else we are planning on funding as support and incentives for our Creative Guild Leaders

Please also review and respond to our Creatives DAO’s OKRs for Q3 (July - September 2021), for which this budget was designed to support.

Budget:

1: Guilds/DAOs Monthly Funding - max. 2,000 N x current 9-12 active groups

• including the proposed Facilitator & Council Member Bounties - for which 600 N out of the maximum 2,000 N that can be requested monthly can have allocated toward

2: tipBot Budget - 100 N [50 N per council member]

Estimated total = 23,108 - 27,108 N
Current reserves = 6332.01 N

Overall estimated payout request based expected Guild activity in August = 20,000 N

About the Creatives DAO category

The Creatives Astro DAO’s purpose is to help support the creative Guilds/DAO’s within the NEAR ecosystem. Please submit a payout proposal to the Creatives Astro DAO if you are a “Creative Guild Leader” or if you do not see another relevant creative DAO to submit to . Elaborating on Budget 1. here is the current list of active Creative Guilds and DAOs who have been funded by the Creatives DAO this month so far:

• Emergency Funds addition to Createbase’s July budget for Wildeverse, which was paid out in August - 5,060 N : [APPROVED] Createbase Guild Budget - July 2021 - #4 by lenara

  • Mintbase/Createbase will be doing an accounting of all Wildeverse remaining funds after August 17 and will return the unused funds to the Creatives DAO
  • This does not include Createbase’s general August budget, which is still pending
