Hey @Nearmedianews thanks for the proposal. I appreciate your contributions to the NEAR ecosystem and media landscape. I do have a few concerns/questions for you.

  • Your Twitter activity for October is a lot of retweets of @Dacha and very little additional content. Did you drop off due to funding delay?
  • Have you reviewed the current KPIs we must align with for funding? Can you review the below and let me know your answers to the questions?

Here is a link to the MarketingDAO Guidelines for October that were posted on the forum. They contain the NDC’s KPIs we are asked to focus on for allocating this month’s funds.

I’ll quote them here so it’s easier to review:

Please use the following metrics that will be used for tracking individual initiatives’ performance by Marketing (Eco) DAO. All the metrics must be attributable to the relevant project/initiative through on-chain activity and off-chain reporting, ensuring GDPR compliance and preserving privacy:

  1. Accounts retention after 1/2/4/8 weeks — the percentage of accounts who continue interacting on the chain over a given time period (higher is better)
  2. Account acquisition cost — budget divided by the number of accounts interacting through the funded initiative (lower is better)
  3. Median number of dApps used by P95 accounts retained for 1+ week (higher is better)
  4. Number of accounts retained for 1+ week using at least three dApps (higher is better)
  5. Social engagement score — some compound metric of the number of posts, likes, and followers/views in social media produced by the users.

Let’s take this example: Why should Marketing (Eco) DAO fund Project X?

  1. Project X should have a clear goal and target audience
  2. Project X should bring improvements to several metrics listed above

Based on the above, can you share:

  • Which of the above KPIs your initiative will use if funding is received
  • How you will track and share the results with MDAO so we can have visibility into the results?
  • What is the most important aspect of this proposal, the most crucial to fund – what will have the most impact for the community?

The reality is that MDAO has 35 pending proposals for limited funds, we can’t fund every project, nor can we fund all recipients every month as we aim to allocated Community support to the highest impact activities and projects.

Thanks!

Hey @Bakaka thanks for your love and support!

yeah sure, why not, will work on it, thanks for sharing your valuable suggestions!

hey @so608 not like that, we are just trying to share new updates from the HoM, via just RT the HoM member’s Twitter post (and maybe hardly it was only 2 or 3 RT posts only)

well something like that, there were two reasons behind this!

  • our graphic designer was very sick last week, and he was admitted to the hospital so…, so we accept that we had low posts last week, but he will join us from tomorrow!
  • and due to v0 or v1, we are not clear about the funding, so we are unable to hire a new graphic designer for last week’s work!

But we have done several other activities on other social media platforms, to promote near ecosystems!

  • Last week near.social quiz event: x.com

  • Last Week zealy campaign: x.com

  • our telegram Community is still very active

NEAR Media brings improvements to several metrics

well, we are always trying to make a clear and detailed report work for the community members and councils!

Here is some of our report work, that we have done!

  • Building community more strong
  • Increase Transaction: Via TipBot, near.social quiz, Zealy Campaign, using NEAR & Aurora dApps
  • Onboard New Users and active wallets: Giveaway, AMAs, and Zealy
  • each week we have zealy campaign in which we are adding several tasks for the community members: Join Near Media and News | Zealy
  • Active Telegram & Twitter Community
  • Boost community near.social profile!
  • supporting near and aurora-related projects!
  • supporting near-related events, and providing tips to the users for joining the movement with other near communities!
  • promoting events on social media platforms!
  • and many more!

We also sharing here our last week’s zealy report, so it’s looking more clear for other members as well!
