As creatives, we are unending in our resolve to improve things as well as create new ones.
Using gather.town I have been able to create some unique metaverse spaces for remote work, meetings, team bonding, and conversation.
You’ll find attached a screenshot of a personalized space for my design team.

You can use it for focused work, team bonding and meetings.

Oh, can I gamefy it? How? are there some codes pre-programed for us creators to use?
Can we add NPCs who speak (written or audio)?
Can I make a NFT from the building I create? Is it in-world?, id est, can I access the other buildings by walking or jut by teleport?
it’s like you read my mind. These are mainly the questions I had in mind.
You can walk into the buildings, not necessarily through the teleport.
For the other questions, I’ve contacted the customer rep for more information. Although from my observations they don’t have those extra features yet.
Do you think think we can create a version that has all these features?
I think that is super possible and interesting.

A good inspiration for some features or maybe for a partnership.

Hey Philosopher, thanks. @m.phil i founded RealityChain.io as a casual 2d Metaverse about 18 months ago. We should chat. It is coincidentally very similar in nature to gather.town, only with NEAR crypto and NFT integration plus cross chain integrations too.

About gamifying Gather through the API program! Developers have created API extentions to add NPCs and NFT gating.
The API is still in beta, but access is open to everyone. Here’s the available documentation:
