[Report] - ServiceDAO - April 2024

Hello NEARians,
Here is the ServiceDAO Report for April 2024.

ServiceDAO has been operational since March 1st.

ServiceDAO Discord Metrics:

  • 197 new tickets were managed in Discord, with approximately 8 still open, mostly comprising follow-ups with Zendesk Support.
  • Discord has around 69600 users in total.

ServiceDAO Telegram Metrics:

  • We welcomed around 3100 new members in telegram
  • Our efficient message management ensures swift and seamless assistance to all NEAR Ecosystem users. Unfortunately, we currently lack metrics regarding Telegram assistance.

ServiceDAO Reddit Metrics:

  • Our Reddit community comprises approximately 17,000 members, and we regularly receive queries from users on the platform.
  • Reddit’s growth is consistent and steady.

AMA:

  • We hosted an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session featuring Ref Finance and Aurora, expressing our gratitude to all contributors for their insightful questions. Approximately 30 listeners participated in Ref and 75 in Aurora.

NEAR Quiz Night:

  • Successfully organized a total of 4 Quiz Nights in April, with an average of 30 participants each time.

Other:

  • We are working with Lyudmil from DevHub to develop a CommunityBot for Telegram assistance.

As we stride toward the future, continuously aiming to exceed our performance benchmarks, we are excited to announce an upcoming user survey, currently in progress. Stay tuned as we endeavor to enhance the ServiceDAO experience even further.

Rahul’s Report for April 2024 - Service DAO

  • Moderated NEAR Protocol Telegram, Discord, Reddit, and sometimes NEAR Forum.
  • Coordinated weekly calls.
  • Developed the agenda for these calls.
  • Shared to-do lists for all team members to work on.
  • Established schedules for all moderators for May.
  • Pushing announcements on NEAR Announcement Channel(TG/Discord/Reddit)
  • Brainstorming ideas to create new campaigns for the community.
  • Keeping an open line of communication with the NF Team for Wallet Support.

  • Worked on Proposals / Report
  • Brainstorming for upcoming AMA
  • Checked PoC for every Subject (Marketing, Dev Support…)
  • Worked with DevHub for a CommunityBot
  • Assisted mods
  • Working with various people in the ecosystem to have feedback.

• Actively participated in moderator calls.
• Assisted with technical aspects.

Mr Potato - Service DAO April 2024 Report

  • Attended all weekly calls and provided feedback on the different initiatives being carried out
  • Assisted with comms with various nodes across the NEAR ecosystem (i.e NF, Pagoda, etc.)
  • Reviewed team performance and advised on DAO Treasury spending
  • Engaged in Community Voice discussions to migrate the Governance Forum
