NEARxPUBLISH Spring Report 2022
We have had an amazingly full, productive Spring season at NEARxPUBLISH. With multiple events, partnerships and community-building activities to report on, it’s become a Herculean effort in itself to recall them!
EVENTS SPONSORSHIPS
San Diego NFT CON took place April 9th-10th, a 2 Day NFT event in San Diego, CA. NEARxPUBLISH was a co-sponsor of the event as a representative of NEAR Protocol, and the event was attended by over 1500+ visitors who were NFT artists, fans, and newbies alike. Multiple blockchains and organizations were in attendance; NEAR was featured on the SDNFTCON website, in the lead-up online advertising, and on-site physical materials at the event as a sponsorship partner. Here are some highlights:
- We coordinated with 6 NEAR Guilds - AstroDAO, TENKbay, CronCats, Naksh, Nativo, NEARHub to be in attendance, with Founding members of NEARHUB, AstroDAO, TENK Bay, and NxP were present at the event, and support from NEAR NFT Club and Tamago.
- We created 8 distinct booths in the centermost space at the event, featuring the guilds and artists.
- Each booth consisted of two bespoke pop-up banners, stickers, flyers, PVC signage, tumblers, mugs, and table tents, all printed by NxP.
- We worked with NEAR NFT Club to coordinate with artists from Paras and Mintbase, with artwork featured on two tables complete with branded table skirts, NEAR informationals, and instructions on setting up NEAR wallets at the event
- Artists who lent expertise at the event - Zeitwarp, NearNauts, Hero Granada, Near Skull Monkeys, AgatheArts, Monosid (NEAR Cats), Kodandi, Samtoshi F Baby, ZenonONerotaki, Neentae, CryptoBunnies, and Near Vision
- The artwork was made available for sale on such items: stickers, acrylic blocks, metal prints, wood prints, coasters, posters, banners, flyers, pins and trading cards - all printed by NxP.
- NEARHUB created a “virtual room” of the event that event-goers were able to view and experience on large screens, as well as online attendees
- An Exclusive NEARCON NFT Mixtape was dropped on Mintbase during the show entitled Catch A Vibe” featuring NEAR musicians: Licious Crackitt, Scotty Teachen (Bing) , neenTAE, Dustn Dign, DJ Teezy, WizzOW, SK The Alternator, Big M, Artwork/mix by neenTAE
- Nativo created an exclusive NFT giveaway via QR code the event
- We also worked with founders of SDNFTCON, to print branded swag bags, lanyards, event badges, banners and stickers
EVENT SUPPORT
We collaborated with the MarmaJ Foundation for their May 29th “NFTs, DEFI, and DAOs Workshop”:

Printed a series of QR Code enabled collectible trading cards featuring artwork from 6 different NEAR artists in 100 packs which contained 3 cards each

Used Satori to create the NFTs and QR code to be printed allowing collectors with a physical card also redeemed the NFT version
We were an ecosystem partner with NEAR Hacker House, Metapool, and NEAR Austin Hub for the “The Lone Star Event “ at Consensus 2022 in Austin, TX on June 9th.
- We supplied custom Wall Banners, Pop-up banners, Table skirts, and branded Giveaway Bags for NEAR Hacker House in Austin TX, that took place June 8-12.
We worked with NEARNYC for NFTNYC for the weeklong event starting June 20th:
- We quickly supplied 250 Stickers and an 8 foot banner for the event, meeting a pressing deadline to expectations
ONGOING ECOSYSTEM OUTREACH
We have been diligently working with Guilds, attending and creating events, and doing social media outreach for our Guild, for NEAR, and for our partnerships:

NEAR Miami Meet-up March 7th: Our co-founder represented NxP at NEAR Miami’s March 7th NEAR Ecosystem Meetup “NEAR Growth in Miami & LATAM” panel headlined by Cameron Dennis, Claudio Cossio, Grace Torellas

We created an NxP Community YouTube page and organized a contest for the NEAR music community. Winners were selected and featured on the NxP/Beat DAO NFT mixtape that was showcased during SDNFTCON in April.

Co-Founder NeenTAE created a 2 part music video concert that was streamable in the OpenWeb Sandbox Auditorium during SDNFTCON in April with YouTube availability

Co-Founder Samtoshi F Baby formed a partnership between NEARxPublish and NEARhub to create NEARHUB Comics with Jeff Gold. Through this partnership the Devs at NEARHub combined with the Art from NEARxPublish created the first ever generative art comic book style PFP collection (Comics.nearhub.club).

“Rise and Grind” Episode 44 on April 4th featured a discussion about NEAR Hub and NEARxPublish with a talk between NxP co-founder Samtoshi F baby, Jeff from NEARHUB and host Ozymandius - Rise and Grind 44: NEAR Hub x NEARxPublish - YouTube

Co-Founder Samtoshi F Baby and Jeff Gold partnered to develop a Whack-A-HRMS web/mobile game based on the NEARHUB HRMS character that will be released on chain in July. Currently collaborated on a Card4Card Paras NFT collection for June. HRMS Card4Card

We’ve had ongoing partnership discussions with BeatDao, Minting Music, and Tamago to coordinate printing needs and custom phygital items to be used in contests and community engagement.

Co-Founder NeetTAE hosted a live Google Meets event to onboard new musicians into the NEAR ecosystem and provided assistance in creating their Mintbase and Paras stores.

Co-Founder NeetTAE created the Tamago NxP streaming page for NEAR musicians

We have been cataloging and sharing our achievements online via our branded Instagram (778 followers),Twitter (1089 Followers, 343 Tweets), and NXP Website (nearxpublish.com)
It has been a total group effort. S/o to the entire NEARxPublish team for all their help and contribution during this QTR. We look forward to continue building more partnerships and increasing exposure for all the wonderful projects being created in our ecosystem.
