[Report] Near Turkiye: 2022 Year in Review

About Us

Hello Near Community.
I am honored to present the success of Near Turkey with this EOY report. Near Turkiye is one of the first decentralized community initiatives was born from here, aiming to introduce the Near Protocol to Turkey in the most effective and economic way. For the community by the community!

Before Near_Turkiye:

• There was no Twitter presence, engagement about Near.
• No clear and understandable Turkish news source, no authentic content, nor any infographics
• No dedicated youtube channel nor significant video Tutorials about Near Protocol nor the Ecosystem
• Almost no article about Near Protocol nor the Ecosystem
• No any city meet-ups.
• No university conferences were held.
• No Near Certified Course was organized.
• Wallet has not yet been translated into Turkish.
• No significant KOL-well-known influencer collaborations were established.
• No quality community support on technical issues (about wallets, DEFI, NFTs, and the overall ecosystem).
• No ecosystem project guidance/support.

After Near_Turkiye:

• Thanks to the Near Turkey Twitter account news, educational, informative content (via Infographics, attractive themes) on Twitter was shared every day.
• Live AMAs, Spaces and other interactive promotional events were held between Leading KOL and Influencers and the community at least in every other week.
• Support was given to ecosystem projects.
• Near Turkey Youtube channel was created and 38 promotional tutorial videos were uploaded, 8 of which were NDC training videos.
• Near Turkey medium account was created and a total of 67 articles were published about Near Protocol and the Ecosystem.
• We organized 3 city meetups in Turkey (Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir) -City Hub Meetups-
• We attended a university conference in Yalova and gave speech to about 200 Software Engineer students, opened a booth and introduced Near.
• We organized an NDC Near certified developer training program attended by 15 people and earned NCD certificates for 7 people.
• Wallet.near.org has been translated into Turkish by us-free of cost-
• Gave onboarding support to 4 projects.
• Hundreds of community users were supported 24/7 on technical and fundamental topics on telegram and twitter.
