NEAR GHANA APRIL REPORT
Our aim is to create & grow a vibrant builder community in Ghana. We started the month with the launch of:
NEAR Ghana Challenge:
A builder program in partnership with AyaHQ to help our community build Dapps on BOS, winners will split a reward pool of $300. Massive support will be given to projects that come out of this challenge. The challenge started on the 8th April was to end on the 20th April, 2024 but was postponed to 26th April, 2024 to help the Hacker complete their project. We also had our Opening Ceremony on the 9th April, 2024 at 7pm GMT.
Campus Tour:
We secured a partnership with Valley View University to run a technical training for students in smart contract developing on BOS & the general NEAR ecosystem on 18th April, 2014. We currently have 8 registered participants for the event.
Quest:
We actually started a quest which will see our community download the NEAR Wallet and submit their wallet address via a form to win from a prize pool of $100 to increase our community on-chain activities.
Community Growth:
Our community grew over 100%, over the past 15 days, growing from 20 to 152 members on WhatsApp and 21 to 198 members on Telegram. Our X handle currently has over 1600 impressions signifying significant growth.
