COMMUNITY ACTIVITY DETAILS
NEAR Ghana Challenge:
A builder program in partnership with AyaHQ to help our community build Dapps on BOS, winners will split a reward pool of $300. Massive support will be given to projects that come out of this challenge. The challenge started on the 8th April was to end on the 20th April 2024 but was postponed to 29th April 2024 to help the Hacker complete their project. We also had our Opening Ceremony on the 9th April, 2024 at 7pm GMT. The Challenge ended with 10 participant and 1 project successfully submitted. The winning project is PeerTrade: an Automated decentralized P2P application built on the near protocol. The Dapp allows for traders to exchange or trade crypto in a peer-to-peer form. Where merchants can create buy/sell ads and traders and interact or trade these ads independently without approval from merchants. The trade works like fiat for tokens but this time fiat is replaced with stable coins. So, each trade is a stable coin against tokens or vice versa.
Campus Tour
We secured a partnership with Valley View University to run a technical training for students in smart contract developing on BOS & the general NEAR ecosystem on 18th April, 2014. We had 109 registered participants for the event.
Quest
We actually started a quest which will see our community download the NEAR Wallet and submit their wallet address via a form to win from a prize pool of $100 to increase our community on-chain activities.
Community Growth
Our community grew over 100%, over the past 30 days, growing from 20 to 153 members on WhatsApp and 21 to 201 members on Telegram. We also onboarded 10 Devs into our community. Our X handle currently has over 3614 impressions signifying significant growth.

Wallets & Transactions
The link attached give details of wallet downloads and transaction of our community for 1 month in existence. Most wallets were downloaded at the campus tour event.
