GENERAL ACTIVITIES
We will onboard developers and focus on building DApps on NEAR/BOS. Hence our activities are structured to provide viable results. We will host;
NEAR Ghana Challenge:
This is a 2 weeks mini Hackathon our community will host every month to equip our Developers on having practical experience building on the NEAR protocol. Projects built will be further enhanced into a MVP.
Workshop & Developer Training on NEAR/BOS:
Training sessions will be hosted and facilitated by resourceful Web3 professionals and engineers to improve the technical knowledge of our developer community.
Major Hackathon:
We will invite hackers across Africa to participate in this Hackathon to build blockchain solutions which will be deployed on the NEAR protocol.
Community Engagement & Growth Activities:
These activities will be twitter space, AMAs, posting engaging contents on our socials and growing our WhatsApp community.
Strategic Partnerships:
We will forge partnerships with web3 communities across Africa to enable them transition into our community for mutual benefits.
Finally, we believe the effective execution of these activities will lead to the creation of a viable NEAR developer community in Ghana.
CAMPUS TOUR
Event Overview:
NEAR Ghana is excited to propose a one-day workshop and university tour across most prestigious Universities in Ghana. The event aims to engage and educate participants about the NEAR Protocol, foster community growth, and onboard developers into the NEAR ecosystem. Near Ghana proposes utilising an additional $1000 to run activities within the NEAR Ghana community. These activities will include organising events like workshops, giveaways, Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions, and other community-building initiatives aimed at fostering engagement and knowledge exchange among NEAR enthusiasts. Additionally, we will engage with our active user base of 100+ members on WhatsApp to further enhance community participation and interaction.

Emmanuel Kusi
Web3 Management Professional & Blockchain Architect who brings wealth of experience to the table, previously served as Ghana Country Director for Tezos Blockchain, General Director for BIGIRVERSE, CMO for Hurisoft, Developer Community manager of ETHAccra and Developer Relations Lead of Ayahq.
My expertise lies in managing blockchain projects effectively and driving developer communities in the web3 space. With a proven track record of hosting 2 major HACKATHONS in Ghana (ETHAccra Hackathon) & Nigeria (Ayathon), I have consistently delivered results and achieved organisational goals.
Felix Dartey Kusi
IT Project Manager with expertise in Web3 community and Social Media Management.
I managed web3 and Tech communities, MTG DAO,XANA Metaverse, Bictory Finance, to mention a few. Using agile methodologies, I oversaw various aspects of these projects, collaborating closely with the teams. Notably, I contributed to Virtua’s success in selling over 1000 NFTs, leveraging my expertise in project management. My role involved maintaining a strong online presence and fostering engagement within blockchain communities. Through these experiences, I’ve gained insights into community management and project coordination in the blockchain industry not forgetting Social media management.
Akakpo Ernest
I’m a dedicated contributor at Bankless Africa , Also serving as Team Lead for the innovative EasyWally Project. I’m also a Moderator at Cryptoprenuers and have successfully hosted major events such as Flooz and Bankless Africa / L2 (Optimism), each attracting over 300 participants. I have also worked for various companies such as REFICA, FTT DAO and Metafarmer. Additionally, I’m the founder of the Blockchain Builders Club (BBClub) at Ho Technical University with a focus on empowering youth through education, opportunities, and blockchain technology. We also achieved recognition in the EthScarfold category as 3rd place winner in an ETHAccra Hackathon, showcasing my expertise in this dynamic field. My expertise lies in fostering strong relationships between developers and the community. I excel at organising impactful events, bridging the gap between Web2 and Web3, and providing essential support for developers navigating this dynamic landscape.

I bring a wealth of passion and a strong technical skill set to the ever-evolving domain of web3. With my expertise in UI/UX design, mobile app development, and aspirations as a future Product Manager, I am wholeheartedly dedicated to shaping exceptional user experiences and functional mobile applications. My career objective is crystal clear: to embrace challenges in this highly competitive environment and channel my creativity and skills towards driving substantial and meaningful change.
I had the privilege of participating in the EthAccra Hackathon, where I joined forces with a group of like-minded innovators to explore the cutting edge of web3 technology. In this dynamic event, I assumed the role of project manager for our team, diligently coordinating our efforts and ensuring the successful execution of our project. This experience fortified my commitment to taking on responsibilities that not only contribute to my personal and professional growth but also enable me to harness the immense potential of web3 for the betterment of Near and the broader tech landscape.

I am a passionate and innovative graphic designer with a diverse skill set and a keen eye for detail. With a background in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and After Effects, I bring a unique perspective to every project. I strive to create compelling designs that resonate with the target audience and communicate the intended message. I run a creative space called Emel Graphicz. Through my work, I aim to elevate brands, convey powerful narratives, and leave a lasting impression. I had the privilege to work for the Department of Information Studies of the University of Ghana, Legon Hall and Dr. Hilla Limann Hall, all of the University of Ghana and other brands like Sourir Dental Mall.
