Project Intro
The NEAR ES project aims to drive adoption and awareness of NEAR Protocol within the Spanish-speaking community through a comprehensive educational initiative. Our goal is to onboard new users, guide them in creating wallets, and empower them to confidently engage with web3 technologies. Through education, gamification, and outreach to non-blockchain communities, we seek to demystify NEAR Protocol, strengthen community connections, and contribute to the growth of the NEAR ecosystem in the Spanish Speaking community.

This month, we achieved a significant partnership with the Universidad Nacional Experimental de las Telecomunicaciones e Informática (UNETI). Through this partnership, we committed to educating a group of the university’s students about the NEAR Protocol and the Blockchain Operating System. We began with an introductory talk, followed by enrolling developers in the BOS Certified Developer Bootcamp, made possible by our first partnership with the OWA team. See more here.

As part of our partnership with UNETI, we are hosting a series of online educational events about NEAR Protocol for students across the university’s various campuses. This month, the event was held for students at UNETI’s Maracay campus.
We conducted an online event introducing the BOS Blockchain Operating System to students from UNETI’s Maracay campus (located 119 km from Caracas).
We reached out 19 developers from our partnership with two events on the UNETI University

Our NEAR ES community recently connected with La Cryptomada, a vibrant Web3 community focused on empowering individuals with knowledge of blockchain technology, leadership skills, and soft skills.
We were honored to be invited to present on the NEAR Protocol as a user-friendly web3 platform accessible to everyone.

The past four months have been a whirlwind of hard work, and we’re thrilled to celebrate some incredible milestones! We’ve made significant progress in raising awareness of NEAR Protocol within the Spanish-speaking community and fostering its growth. We’re committed to amplifying our presence across social media platforms, solidifying our position as the leading resource for Spanish-speaking users interested in NEAR Protocol. Our core objective remains making it easy for Spanish-speaking individuals to join the NEAR ecosystem. We’re actively fostering a culture of learning and advancement in BOS development, empowering developers to build on NEAR.
