May turned out to be a more challenging month for us than we expected. The negative news about the upcoming closure of NDC affected the morale within GDAO’s, leading to some organizational difficulties. At the beginning of the month, we were noticeably behind our usual pace of work at Degens DAO. However, thanks to the efforts and leadership of Baxoff in the Targeting direction, we managed to improve our performance by mid-month.
What was done in May?
Public Degens
We conducted another round of the open initiative for the community from NDC Degens DAO. Anyone could try their hand at promoting the Near Protocol in several ways. The rules and conditions for receiving remuneration remained the same, and before completing the tasks, everyone was required to familiarize themselves with them.
Unfortunately, most of the participants failed to complete the task and submitted very weak and unoriginal work, which we were unable to fully reward.

NDC Social media Support
We, the leaders Lolson and Baxoff, would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the participants in the congress, without whom we would not have been able to create such a professional and united team.
The members of our main group have supported the NDC News and tried to help them, and all participants (except for 2) have posted their support on their social media accounts, indicating that they are members of the NDC Degens community.
KPI’s
This month, not all KPIs were met. The decline in statistics can be attributed to several reasons, but one of the most significant is that the bar was set too high due to the exceptional work of all participants in recent months.
Referral work
This month, we continued to support ecosystem partner projects directly and achieved good results. While the overall statistics decreased by 11%, we still achieved excellent results for users in individual projects. You can find the figures in the spreadsheet below.

This month, our focus has not yielded the best results. Although we did not reach 2 million impressions, Degens did a great job in achieving these results. A record number of direct clicks were collected, specifically 16,162. This indicates that the content was highly relevant to the core group of our audience.
