Project Introduction:

The NEAR ES Community’s initiative for the Meta Pool Grant focuses on delivering comprehensive education regarding the Meta Pool ecosystem. Our goal is to provide insights into its multi-chain, liquid-staking capabilities across various blockchains: NEAR Protocol, Aurora Network, Ethereum, Solana, and Q Blockchain. To achieve this, we have structured three workshops that will cover everything from blockchain fundamentals and proof of stake to in-depth tutorials on Meta Pool’s features. Additionally, our plan includes producing weekly educational content in formats such as articles, videos, and social media posts. To further engage users and encourage participation, we have organized a staking contest with attractive rewards.

By emphasizing Meta Pool’s standout features—including Vote-to-Earn, cross-chain liquid staking tokens, liquidity pools, launchpads for emerging projects, and a bond market for trading locked positions—we aim to educate participants on how active voters benefit from governance participation, fostering deeper community involvement and understanding.

Achievements:

During this milestone, we focused on boosting awareness of Meta Pool and preparing for upcoming workshops. Notable achievements include:

  • Workshop Preparations: Finalized the structure and logistics for the workshops, which will run from November 7 to November 28.

  • Subscriber Growth: Secured 47 new subscribers for the workshop registration, showing strong community interest. (update)

  • Educational Content Creation: Produced and distributed weekly educational materials, including articles, videos and social media posts, aimed at increasing brand visibility and engagement.

  • 35 Registrations for Workshops: A strong indication of community interest and readiness for the sessions starting on November 7.
  • Content Reach and Interaction: Published 4 new articles on our Medium blog, created 2 new videos for our YouTube channel, posted 4 X (Twitter) threads highlighting Meta Pool news and partnerships, conducted 2 X polls to understand the community’s use and preference for Meta Pool chains for staking, and organized 2 Telegram quizzes about Meta Pool.
  • Engagement Metrics: Positive trends observed across Telegram, X, Medium, and YouTube, contributing significantly to overall project goals.

We want to express my deepest gratitude to the team members whose hard work and dedication have been pivotal to the success of this project phase. Milestone 2 Report: Unlocking the Power of Meta Pool - Comprehensive Education and Engagement Initiative.

Achievements

During the second milestone, our focus was on delivering a comprehensive educational experience to deepen the community’s understanding of Meta Pool and its multichain capabilities. The key accomplishments are detailed below:

Workshops and Educational Content

  • Workshops Hosted:
    We successfully conducted a workshop consisting of 4 classes (initially 3 according to the proposal), held weekly from November 7 to November 28. Each session covered crucial topics related to blockchain and the Meta Pool ecosystem

    • Blockchain Basics and Proof of Stake.
    • Meta Pool Operations and Ecosystem Overview.
    • Solana Integration and the MultiChain Ecosystem.
    • Governance and Vote-to-Earn in Meta Pool. The four class included (the bonus class) was about governance, to emphasize the importance of community participation and voting.

  • Participant Engagement:
    By the end of the registration period, we achieved 54 participants, reflecting significant community interest. Attendance and engagement remained high throughout the workshops, fostering an interactive and collaborative learning environment.

  • Content Creation and Distribution:

    • Video Content: Each workshop session, 4 in total, was recorded and published on our YouTube channel to extend the reach of the educational material and serve as a resource for future reference. Link

  • Educational Wiki: We developed a Wiki Page on Notion to aggregate and distribute educational content, workshop materials, and resources shared during the sessions. The page also served as a collaborative space where participants and facilitators could access all relevant information. Participants’ names were listed in a table, allowing them to easily share their activities, while facilitators could directly review and provide feedback on each submission.

  • NFT Proof of Attendance: After each session, we distributed NFTs as Proof of Attendance (PoA) to all participants. These NFTs were minted on Mintbase, ensuring secure and verifiable ownership. A total of 4 NFTs were issued per participant, forming part of a dedicated workshop collection.

Staking Activity and Governance Participation

  • Staking Activity:
    One of the workshop sessions focused on a practical staking activity, where 20 participants actively engaged in staking. Participants were provided with $AURORA tokens for staking and ETH to cover gas fees, enabling them to practice the staking process hands-on.
  • The pool prize in mpDAO was distributed among all participants, according to their attendance and delivered assigned activities, incentivizing their continued involvement in the ecosystem.
  • Governance Engagement:
    We emphasized the Vote-to-Earn mechanism in Meta Pool, encouraging participants to exercise their governance rights. One of the workshop assignments was to conduct a vote and submit the corresponding hash. Everyone got some MPdao tokens to use for this.
    This helped foster a deeper understanding of decentralized governance and its rewards.

Highlights

  • 54 Total Participants (20 needed) registered for the workshops.

  • 4 Workshops classes delivered (3 needed), covering essential topics for understanding Meta Pool and its ecosystem.

  • All four classes were published on our YouTube channel, making them accessible for continued learning and reference.

  • We are proud to highlight that two of our videos published during this campaign rank among the top three results in Google’s video search when searching for ‘Meta Pool.’ This achievement underscores the increased visibility and awareness of the platform.

This milestone successfully met its goals by delivering valuable educational content and driving engagement in the Meta Pool ecosystem.
