July was all about momentum. With Meta Pool’s 4th anniversary approaching, the energy across the protocol was electric — and I was deep in the middle of it.
From co-hosting high-value workshops to driving community AMAs and dropping educational content on LinkedIn and X, the focus stayed the same:
Make staking easier to access.
Help users understand governance.
Keep the community connected.
Here’s a breakdown of my Meta Pool activities in July:
2 Hands-On Workshops —
“DAO Power: Stake, Vote, Govern” &
“Understanding Meta Pool Liquid Staking”
July featured back-to-back sessions in the Meta Pool Node Studio Workshop series, co-hosted with Blesilyns and Marcrypted.
Workshop 1: “DAO Power”
We broke down how anyone can become a validator on NEAR, even with no dev background. We also unpacked Meta Pool Improvement Proposals (mpIPs) like mpIP-16 & mpIP-17, plus real-world examples of how DAO voting directly affects protocol direction.
Workshop 2: “Understanding Meta Pool Liquid Staking”
This one focused on the core of Meta Pool’s mission, enabling real yield without locking up assets.
We shared personal analogies, simplified concepts like liquid staking vs traditional staking, and explored multichain utility for tokens like $NEAR, $ETH, and $IP (Story Protocol).
Highlights:
-
Real-life metaphors to simplify LSTs
-
Introduction to the Node Studio League
-
Open Q&A session on staking strategy
Attendance grew, engagement was strong, and the questions proved how much appetite there is for transparent education in DeFi.
5 High-Impact Twitter AMAs (X Spaces)
These AMAs weren’t just live sessions — they were community pulse checks, education hubs, and feedback incubators:
-
Passive Income in Web3 & Meta Pool
→ Real-life discussion on staking, Share2Earn, and Vote2Earn. -
Meta Pool, Real Yield & the Future of DeFi Participation
→ Deep dive into tokenomics, validator structure, and DAO voting. -
Meta Pool 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝑫𝒆𝑭𝒊 𝑽𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒆: 𝑺𝒉𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑼𝒑, 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 & 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓.
-
Staking for Value: How Meta Pool Empowers Everyday Users in DeFi
-
Meta Pool and the Future of DeFi Participation
→ An open mic-style session with Meta Pool users sharing how they got started.
Each space featured live conversations, real-time shout-outs to stakers and voters, and plenty of “aha!” moments from listeners.
Multiple Meta Pool Threads (Educational & Real)
This month’s content was all about simplifying DeFi with real life examples and showcasing Meta Pool’s growth:
Explainer on Meta Pool Referral Program
Deep-dive on Real Yield in DeFi (vs hype models)
Node Studio League launch (60 validators onboarded
)
Recap of Governance Call 20 & the Kahoot reward event
Strategic buyback proposal (mpIP) and $mpDAO’s 60% surge
Celebrating Meta Pool’s 4-Year Anniversary milestone
All written to feel relatable, informative, and actionable for everyday Web3 users, especially those new to staking.
LinkedIn Activations
July wasn’t just active on X — it was also the month of professional storytelling.
I published:
-
“How Meta Pool Rewards People Who Refer, Stake, and Build”
→ Showcased how the referral program creates a sustainable growth loop. -
July Governance Proposal Breakdown
→ A polished, community-friendly explanation of the mpDAO buyback vote and its long-term impact.
LinkedIn became a second home for Meta Pool education — helping onboard curious professionals who aren’t active on X.
Summary
July was full throttle.
Tools like Node Studio got spotlighted.
Governance became less intimidating.
Staking started to feel like real ownership.
Voices from all corners — validators, voters, first-time stakers — had a platform to share.
Meta Pool continues to stand out not because of hype — but because of a mission:
To make staking meaningful, accessible, and led by the community that powers it.
Grateful to contribute to that mission.
