[Report/mpDAO] Scholarship Program Completion Report

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the scholarship program conducted by Meta Pool in collaboration with the University of Zurich. This report outlines the activities and achievements of the program, which aimed to provide educational opportunities for Latin American students in advanced blockchain and technology courses.

Report Introduction

The scholarship project was designed to offer both on-site and online educational opportunities to Latin American students, enabling them to participate in the University of Zurich’s Summer School program. The initiative focused on providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the blockchain industry.

Funds and Management

The funds were utilized to cover travel expenses, course fees, and other necessary expenses for the scholars. The effective management of these funds ensured that the students could fully participate in the program without financial constraints.

Activity period: July 1 to July 19, 2024

Details of the Scholars

  • On-Site Courses in Switzerland:
    • 2 students from UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México) participated in intensive courses and academic activities at the University of Zurich.
  • Online Courses:
    • 1 student from UNAM and 2 students from Champagnat University in Argentina participated in online courses, focusing on advanced topics in blockchain technology.

Activities Conducted

Completion of On-Site Courses

The two UNAM students successfully completed the intensive Summer School program at the University of Zurich. They engaged in a series of academic activities, including lectures, workshops, and networking events with industry professionals. This hands-on experience provided them with a deeper understanding of blockchain technology and its applications.

Completion of Online Courses

The students who participated in the online courses have also completed their studies. The courses offered by the University of Zurich provided in-depth knowledge of blockchain and its related technologies, which the students can now apply in their respective academic and professional pursuits.
