Dear members of the house,
Following funding in April we were able to make substantial progress with the organising of the festival.
- Posters and programs were printed and distributed around Lisbon and Barreiro
- Production meetings were had with venues where technical challenges were discussed
- Our social media channels have been created and started promoting artists
- Online ticketing partner was chosen and ticket sales started
- A documentary filmmaker was recruited to create a short documentary about the festival
- Head technician/engineer was recruited and various quotes for tech backlines were commissioned from several providers
- A linktr.ee with all relevant links including ticketing was created.
- A playlist was created to present the music performed at the festival. It can be accessed through our linktr.ee
- Communications for onboarding with artists and production were initiated
- Funding from the Goethe Institute for the Headliner’s travel costs from Germany was not granted.
- Artist liaison to follow up progress with projects, finalise technical riders and stage management was continued.
We still have a lot of work to do (such as recruiting a sound recordist, purchase of payment terminal, organise catering for attendees and artists, purchase live music licensing and examine technical quotes) but we have started selling tickets which is encouraging.
