Thanks for approving our Budget for July. Below, you may see INA’s updates for the month:
Project Accounting: 7.35 N + 4,150.25 DAI + 81.90 MARMAJ / currently

Still to be paid out/claimed:
- 200 USD for gallery update.
- 750 USD for Art History presentations.
- 150 USD for DJ Bounty for gallery opening
- 1,500 USD for artists in residency program
- 400 USD for participants in AMA sessions

Projects/Highlights
- We ran 4 AMA Sessions on our YouTube channel. The guests were @LulucaL , @manu, @ladra and @Di.Cosmic.Art.
- The opening for Super Powers show has been moved to August 3rd at 17:00 UTC at our Voxels gallery , as well as our NearHub gallery. And Barby Rush will be DJ’ing the event.
- Our series called “Art History; the Female Perspective”, is going strong. In July we did 3 live videos, that are now on our YouTube channel. One was about Louise Bourgeois, the other was about Tarsila do Amaral, and lastly Georgia O’Keeffe. We have already chosen the next 3 female artists we want to talk about for August.
- We have chosen the 3 artists to participate in our artists in residency - INA Supports your Super Powers 2 - they are @beetlejuice @Mareelawn and @Mailza. That gallery show will be held on October 4th.
- We also dedicated more efforts and resources to our social media. Our Instagram account now has 417 followers, and our Twitter account has 322! Our new YouTube channel has 33 subscribers.
Learnings
- We are finding that our interviews for AMA are doing better on our YouTube Channel . Plus because some of our members can’t speak English that well we are providing the opportunity to do them in Portuguese, Spanish and German, because YouTube provides CC with translations!
- We have come up with some guidelines to hopefully prevent cheating in our DAO. You can take a look at them here. One of the things we are encouraging is that members follow us on all social media channels.
- On another note GeminiRising has learnt the expensive way about compromised wallets. Previously when the wallet was compromised, all that was done was that the passphrase was changed and she continued using the same wallet. She did not know about CLI or that hackers could make multiple pass phrases. So after saving up another $2K mostly in DAI and UST the hacker took all of it again! She now has a new wallet - geminirisingv2.near.
Next steps
- Continue with the AMA Sessions, which have been a useful way to get the community involved, and raise visibility of female artists in the ecosystem.
- Create more projects that encourage artists participation, such as our new “Seeds” open call.
- We are also going to continue our series called “Art History; the Female Perspective” featuring a discussion about 3 more female artists. Those female artists will be Lygia Pape, Hildegard Von Bingen and Sherin Neshat.
- Encourage new participants to join from outside the ecosystem.
