For the month of August, we were able to hold 3 sessions out of the 4 session that we were supposed to do for this month as there are some issues on the side of the mentor. There is an average of 18 students who attend our workshop for August.
Session 1: Introduction
In this session, the mentor introduces himself, and let the others introduce themselves as well. He also introduced what the students should expect in the workshop and what he’s going to discuss every session. A total of 20 students attended the first session that happened last August 8 on Filipino Artist Guild’s Discord Server.
Session 2: Discussion About Visual Key Elements In Graphic Design
In this session, the mentor discussed the line, color, shape, or the visual elements of graphic design. He finished the lesson by giving the students an activity where they can make use of the lesson that they learned. 18 students attended session 2 that happened on August 14 and 13 students were able to submit their assignments.To make the workshop more exciting and fun, the mentor thinks of giving a reward for those students who have the top entries on the given activity. Session 3: Discussion About Visual Key Elements In Graphic Design
This session is the continuation of session 2. In this session, the mentor discussed the texture, spacing and typography. He started the session with an ice breaker question where he will ask about the previous session. A total of 17 students attended the 3rd session that was on August 21. He again ended the session by giving them a new activity, in which they will make a publication material for their entries from the previous session.
