Accomplished objectives:
- Successfully concluded the Soundsplash series drops over the last 12 weeks
- Successfully finished the integration with Roketo for streaming Splash tokens
- Involved in the planning & design for Console & NFT Staking.
- Meetings - Internal dev team, team planning meetings, external meetings with Roketo, OWS etc
Summary:
As a team we were successfully able to execute the splash drops for Week 9,10,11 & 12 and hence successfully concluding the Soundsplash series, launched the streams of Splash tokens via integrating with Roketo so that it coincides with the Metayield streams.
We as a team spent considerable effort finalizing on the requirements for Console & NFT Staking and the timelines for the same.
Retrospect on the Soundsplash series:
Due to not planning out things properly on what all components of the drops should be customizable and by how much, we weren’t able to architect the things properly on the tech side due to which we had to create a lot of redundant components, also had to spend the time doing similar things over & over again which could have been prevented by proper planning in the beginning. In order to make sure, we don’t repeat the same mistake again, this time we are spending more time during the planning so that things can work with less redundant components in Console & NFT Staking.
Also, in the beginning we were not prioritizing tasks properly due to which we spent time doing things which were less important, but now we are making sure everyone is aligned on the priority so that this doesn’t happen in the future.
The good thing was that we really came together as a team and made sure the splash drops go out smoothly without any major issues for the end users.
