Icon Manila: Animation Conference: (September 27-28)
Project description:
This report outlines the significant events and happenings during our attendance at the Icon Manila Conference held on September 27-28, 2023. The conference provided a unique platform for networking, partnership development, and the introduction of the Filipino Artist DAO initiative.

Milestones
Establishing a Valuable Network for Potential Animation Partnerships: We successfully expanded our professional network by engaging with key players in the animation industry. One major potential partnership that we have currently is with The Animation Council of the Philippines, Inc.

  • Introduction of Filipino Artist DAO to Conference Founders: During the conference, I had the privilege of introducing the Filipino Artist DAO initiative to the conference founders and key industry influencers. As a result of this introduction, we are currently preparing the discussions with the University of Makati, one of the prominent educational institutions in the Philippines, to explore partnership opportunities and some other schools to introduce Near to them.
    External world engagement
    The Icon Manila Conference was a pivotal event that presented a unique opportunity for professional growth and collaboration for Filipino Artist DAO to represent and showcase what Near can do to help artists especially in the animation industry and provide them an opportunity to navigate through the Near ecosystem. We successfully established a network of potential partners, introduced the Filipino Artist DAO initiative which contributed to the success of the DAO. These achievements underscore the positive impact of our attendance and engagement at the conference.

Filipino Artist DAO and WACOM at The Fifth at Rockwell (October 11-12)

We are pleased to provide you with a report on the recent partnership event between Filipino Artist DAO and WACOM, held at The Fifth at Rockwell. This event marked a significant milestone in our ongoing collaboration, showcasing the potential for mutually beneficial partnerships and increased exposure for the Near ecosystem. This report outlines the event’s key highlights and the positive outcomes achieved.
Milestones The partnership between Filipino Artist DAO and WACOM has been steadily growing, with the shared goal of empowering Filipino artists and expanding the reach of Near’s blockchain ecosystem. To further this collaboration, we organized an exclusive event at The Fifth at Rockwell to celebrate our achievements and explore new opportunities for future growth.

Artistic Demonstrations:
Prince, an artist from the Filipino Artist DAO showcased his work using WACOM’s cutting-edge digital art technology. This served as a live demonstration of the innovative tools and solutions available to artists, aligning perfectly with our mission of empowering and advancing Filipino talents.

Networking Opportunities:
The event provided attendees with ample opportunities to network and forge new connections. This fostered discussions about potential partnerships and collaborations in the future, aligning with our mission of creating opportunities for the Filipino Artist DAO community.

Exposure for Near Ecosystem:
During the event presentation of Prince, he also highlighted the benefits of Near’s blockchain technology for artists and creators. The presentation emphasized the efficiency, transparency, and security it offers, driving interest and awareness of Near within the artistic community and potential partnerships for the ecosystem.

It not only celebrated our existing collaboration but also showcased the potential for future partnerships and the benefits of Near’s blockchain technology within the art industry. Esports and Gaming Summit (ESGS): (November 3-5)

This report provides a detailed account of the significant events and achievements during the participation of Filipino Artist DAO at the Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) 2023, held from November 3 to 5 at the World Trade Center Manila, on its 10th anniversary. As the largest gaming convention in Southeast Asia, ESGS attracted a diverse audience, including gamers, developers, founders, cosplayers, and artists.
Milestones The summit served as a platform to establish crucial partnerships with game developers and indie creators, introduce the Filipino Artist DAO initiative to influential figures, and initiate discussions with potential partner organizations. Key accomplishments include:

The DAO’s initiative was introduced to founders and developers, and discussions were started with potential partner organizations such as GCASH and JBL. The goal of these interactions was to explore collaborative efforts and provide support for the Filipino Artist DAO initiatives.

Filipino artist DAO expands its network by engaging with game developers and indie creators at ESGS, opening up opportunities for collaboration and partnerships in the gaming industry.
External world engagement The Esports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) was a valuable platform for Filipino Artist DAO, offering opportunities for network expansion, partnership development, and increased social traction. Creating a network for potential collaborations, potential partner organizations, and connections with creators highlights the success of our participation at ESGS. Follow-up communication is ongoing to solidify these partnerships and explore collaborative projects.

Animahenasyon: The Philippine Animation Festival 2023 (Nov 18)

This event we attended was the Animahenasyon: The Philippine Animation Festival 2023, this takes place annually to showcase the excellence and give recognition to Filipino made animated films.

Filipino Artist Dao X Gensokishi

Project description:
GensoKishi Online, a pioneering Japanese web3 gaming platform, has partnered with Filipino Artist DAO (FAD) and XOVOX Labs to revolutionize the creative landscape by empowering emerging Filipino artists through blockchain technology.
Milestones * Official partnership announced on October 25, 2023

  • In preparation for the UGC creation, the Filipino Artist Dao is currently conducting a 2D workshop during October 28, November 4 and November 1, 2023 with 8-10 attendees per session. This workshop is conducted to prepare the artists for a 3D workshop and later on, UGC creation.
  • There was a 2D art contest that started last Nov, 10 ~18, 2023. This ongoing contest received a positive response from the artists, and we assume that more people will be participating than the expected numbers. Log into Facebook | Facebook

Filipino Artist Dao X YGG (W3GS)
Project description:
We partnered with YGG - the biggest web3 community in the Philippines. Along with the partnership, we’re invited to join the biggest web3 event to be held in BGC Taguig. This is a week-long event of expos, talks and web3 gaming.

By joining this event, we will be able to know web3 communities related to gaming and collaborate with web3 projects for future partnerships.
Milestones
Opportunity for future collaboration were opened. Exposure for Filipino Artist Dao was gained. Continuous participating with such event will provide more networking opportunity for the Dao.
External world engagement
The event opened opportunity for potential collaboration with other web3 community. Filipino Artist Dao were able to be introduced to other web3 community through the representatives chosen to attend the event.
