January saw more progress for the DJ DAO, with more active DJ’s from across the NxM Live ecosystem continuing to join our telegram group, which now consists of 90 members.
We have also launched our Instagram account along with a mixcloud account which we will begin posting the guest sets from our Strictly Ballein events on. Our twitter account has also grown to 59 followers and a landing page for all relevant DJ DAO related links and content has been established here.

In February we intend to populate our own discord server and also continue to actively onboard more DJs who are not already on the NEAR Protocol and its ecosystem of guilds. In addition, we seek to finalize incubation of a new Radio show proposal and have it prepared for next month. Our council is currently discussing the details of this proposal and will be proceeding to draft it over the course of this month. The aim of this concept is to support the various musicians of the NxM ecosystem by highlighting their music and NFTs via a weekly radio show consisting of DJ mixes, interviews, etc.
Additionally we are also working on a proposal for a livestreamed DJ event focusing on DJs from the SEA region, in a effort to tap into the vast network of DJs in the space and onboard them to the NEAR ecosystem.
