December was a solid end to the year for the DJ DAO, with more community interaction beginning to take place in our telegram group and the addition and onboarding of more new DJs from Europe and Asia!
We are now currently 89 members strong, with a mix of audience members and DJs. We intend to engage our community more this year with proposals such as content creation and incubation of projects that can bring benefit to both the near protocol (and its ecosystem of DAOs and networks) while fueling the creativity of our DJs and electronic artists.
Furthermore we launched our own twitch and twitter accounts.

For the incoming month of January we intend to focus further on growing our various social media accounts, as well as establishing an Instagram account and a discord server for our DAO.
Additionally we are incubating a proposal for a weekly Radio show focused on showcasing the music created by the NxM Guild and BeatDAO guild members. We intend to pitch this proposal in February once necessary preparations are made.
This month we also touched base with @thephilosopher , who has been attending our Strictly Ballein events; we look forward to working with the Metaverse DAO more closely in 2022!
The same goes for @JudeKIL of the KIL DAO, whom we intend to work with further this year to bring more Asian DJs onto the network.
December also saw the departure of @vandal as a council member of our DAO. We would like to offer our heartfelt gratitude for everything this individual has done for the DJ DAO, and DJs around the world. Wishing him the best for everything happening in 2022, and looking forward to continuing to work together as an event partner for our events.
The addition of @glazedbaguette.near and @TRosario as new council members alongside @netunoblu has been completed and we are excited to grow together as a team this year.
