For the month of October I would like to do a trial round of purchasing related to our discussion here.
The budget for this trial will be 40N or $360.
We will create a forum post for artists to submit their minted NEAR works and encourage community members to upvote/like their favorites.
After 7 days their will be a vote, each council member gets one vote, and the highest ranked/liked post will get one vote from the community. (if the votes are spread out so that there is a tie, the community vote will get preference)
We will ask participants to limit the price of their submissions to 20N so that we can do a second round of voting and purchase a second NFT. If the top two NFTs total less than 40N we will do a third round of voting.
Currently the easiest way for the actual purchasing to happen will be for me (Ev3reth) to buy them personally and then transfer the NFTs to the DAO and get reimbursed via proposal.
What we do with these purchases is undecided and will ultimately be up to a council vote. Currently the ideas are to save these NFTs to resell later (to help fund the DAO), put them in a gallery, and raffle one or more away to community members.
